GMC Sierra in Duramax Form those sealed beam beacons and light bars pulled a lot of amperes. Mechanics were replacing alternators and batteries every few weeks. LEDS are extremely efficient and with Cree technology they now dominate emergency lighting.
Outstanding and excellent job the paramedics and firemen deserve a lot of credit your service and time and efforts are deeply appreciated thanks don't work to hard love and appreciate you guys thanks you guys rock still going strong keep them safe out there way to go ! Joe
I used to live in Montclair, and I grew up seeing those rigs constantly. That MFD ladder truck came to my house for Halloween every year before I moved.

Exactly my local department we have a 78 GMC 3500 pumper truck a 84 F350 Rescue truck and a 68 GMC tanker of some kind it's a aerodynamic streamlined tank
Alex Q Looks like 2-1/2 to me. Up behind the pump panel (pre connected). Way up there would be a bad place to put packs. Normally they are kept in the cab, or in the engineer side compartment above the rear axle(s). Pause in hi-def at 13:12 and it will show up better. Stay safe Brother!
these trucks are not classic or vintage ... 11 long they are still in service.. after the airing of this video... Generally unit that's totally enclosed is within 10 years of the date of this area... Even the small chassis trucks rare.. I like the video just the same I did give it a thumbs up..
Murtaza Akbari when they honk it's to alert drivers and possible blind people. They is reasoning behind it. Lol. Also, if they see someone recording some do it as a "hey what's up!!?" Kind of thing. Being a junior firefighter, you learn things. Lol.
First off all this video is number 1 second of all this is the best firetruck compilation I've ever seen good good brother most people show pictures of them
Hey if those old trucks get job done. Right sometimes I take an older truck over a newer truck because there's less computer crap you got to worry about
@ 1 25...... u see the 1 head lite out of the rig the yellow fire rig here............. i thought it was a requirement to make dang sure all lites work including head lites.......... what happen..... i thought this was for all U . S . CITY'S NO MATTER WHAT...........
Orange st, no companies expect special ops respond out of there truck 1 has since been disband and the apparatus is now ladder 6, rescue 1 was moved to engine 11/ladder 11 and early last year has been moved to Clinton ave to make room for hazmat pieces I believe so now they are stationed at Clinton ave with engine 10/ladder 5/ USAR Rescue 2
Many of these are hardly "old and rare." Not having LEDs doesn't mean a rig is "old." That being said, some of those that would be considered "old and rare" are downright handsome.
The video is both old and rare trucks. As in some are only and some are rare. The old trucks are mostly the engines and ladders. The rare ones are ones you don’t see everyday like hazmats etc.
SO DOES ANY ONE KNOW OF THE HERE & NOW OLDEST VOLENTEER FIRE HOUSE STILL ACTIVE..... & OR W/ THE OLDEST ACTIVE FIRE & E M S RIGS IN THE GREAT 'OL U.S.A.....??? ID=F SO SOME ONE SHOULD DO GOOD VIDEO'S HERE & POST THE VIDEO'S SO WE CAN ALL ENJOY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@paramedic135 bruh how many times have you seen special operations vehicles, how many times have you seen older rigs and stuff, if you have many times with the older ones then your fire station sucks, also most of these are old as they are barely used in service and I guess for parades,
