I suggest putting a "drip loop" on the wire before running through the grommet. Allow water to find a low spot and drip off instead of running down the wire to the grommet.

A little dab of silicone when installed or even later will seal it too.

Take it from someone with experience in overwhelming amounts of lights on a vehicle. The fewest switches possible - that do as much as possible - THE BETTER! A simple toggle switch that turns on "ALL" the front lights, one that turns on "ALL" the sides, left & right, and another that turns on "ALL" the rears will make your whole life better... Because having to flip/tap a dozen switches to turn on each individual light when you're in the middle of nowhere, working on something stressful, (like you're leaving the atmosphere in a spaceship) is cool for exactly a week, and then it makes you angry, and you'll be rewiring that whole rig to simple toggle switches soon after. Great video as always and can't wait to see it done nonetheless!

COLTON, when your attaching a hook for towing or winching 21:49, always hook upwards because if the hook was to fail the energy will send the hook downwards into the earth / floor, when hooked down and the hook has a failure it will go airborne backwards towards the pulling pressure and anything in its flight path will have a bad day, either scenario is a bad thing but hooking up is the safest, PS, you are a great addition to the Layton crew and humble with it.....

Raptor liner for the win!!! FYI, you can roll that raptor liner on, and it still ends up with a texture, albeit a smooth texture. But the smooth texture is nice because it washes off easier. Did it to the lower part of my truck, and fender flares.

Maybe some 270 degree servos for the lights mounted on the corners? Up, down, cover at least 270 degrees for spotting whatever you need to light.

The Lights that they should be using are Supernova Altiq Lights and instead of the many little bit of Light up the little area that they are using now and Altiq has a RU-vid Channel and they are Very Super Bright And Very Long Distance Throws... and I didn't know about them until I was searching for Lights and they came up in the Algorithm and then I wish that I had the money to get them.... and then super expensive....

You might not have enough time to look at things but we were friends before he could say a few words, even in Brazil the people who were uploading to RU-vid when I was programed to watch them had videos that were two and one and a half years but they knew I was watching and made sure they eventually had a number of videos that were a day old to check on how was it possible that I was like there in Brazil but in style maybe to not chase their fans away because many people actually hated me for just being alive so to speak especially those who are not White you can say

At 20 minutes. Not sure what that fabric is you’re drilling through but with the age of Whiskers they used a lot of asbestos containing fabrics years ago for heat shields.

Been watching Rory build your wrecker. Someone suggested the name "Stanley" from the Cars movie as a name for your wrecker. That's got my vote! Very cool and functional wrecker. With the Utube names evolved in that build it is extremely valuable. Priceless is a better word.

You might run into issues with the lights on the roof. I foresee trees and branches ripping the lights off. Maybe some sort of thin tube cage/ domes will protect the lights.

I had a suburban that had typical 20 year old faded paint. I Raptor lined the entire thing in 2 colors. Best decision I ever made. I get comments on it all the time. Rain cleans off all the dirt and color has held for 2 years now. Only thing I clean are the windows

Bully liner is amazing stuff. I used it on my bed and my frame. 2 years later still looks new. I did direct to metal. It's a former air force pilot that invented it. Easy clean up

Rubber grommets are all going to leak. They're for protecting wires not for sealing. Should have added a bunch of RTV or something.

I used bully liner on a truck frame I stripped down and sprayed for off road it's held up to the use and abuse very well.

I used Raptor liner in my ute, it held up in the 5 years I had it in the hot Australian sun, it took a punishment of having motorbikes, firewood and all sorts thrown on it.
