As he usually does, Spike hits the local arcade scene nearby his workplace for some gaming action. He notices that his favourite arcade is fast becoming the most depressing arcade in Japan. How did it come to this??
Sad lol, the cat bit gave me a good laugh. Well, its a sad scene now, but we had a good run.. like my college arcade had not 1 but 2 alpha 3 machines. Epic times
I'm pressing "F" to pay my respects for that dying arcade Spike. Probably not making enough to cover maintenance costs unless someone who already works there does it.
@@SpikeSetsFire Yeah especially the ones with specialized hardware. If one weren't hardware savvy I imagine hiring a specialist would be prohibitively expensive.
You don't understand Spike, they are being in character. Kowloon wasn't known for having all the trains run on time and things working, it was a city known for piling garbage to the heavens.
Haha did not expect that arcade to look like a haunted house :D But yea thats sad. I wonder if they cant afford to fix them... Or did they just give up? Strange. And what is this place called even? Warehouse? haha!
That's the question!! I'm going to have to find out more. And this time talk to someone who would know. Yep. It's called Warehouse! And it looks even better lit up at night from the outside!
In the US we went to the largest retro arcade in America called Galloping Ghost arcade. We spent about 3 days there and i bet Outrun And rad mobile with th amazing hydrologic seat! Man, major bucket list items for me. It was a 10 hour road trip to get there, and so worth it!
I had to google this Galloping Ghost arcade you mentioned. And wow! That sounds like paradise! I can easily see how you could spend 3 days there, Venom. That's something I would love to do. And beating Outrun! What an achievement!! I'm very jealous. If I ever go to America... I know where I'm headed.
I haven't seen Encino Man! So, I RU-vid'd that scene. Now I wanna see the whole movie! And play the game! Come to think of it... I've got Rad Mobile and Space Harrier on the Astro City Mini... I know what I'll be playing tonight!
