hair dryer worked!! its really cold in my house, so my ipad probably couldnt get hot enough to start up again. i moved the hair dryer around the back of my ipad on the lowest setting until it felt like it was at a normal temperature, plugged it into the charger, wnd it turned right on! thank you!!
The hair dryer works! Just lay it face down and use dryer on the back until it gets really warm, then take it and plug it in and it will come on. I had to do this every day for a few days but then it started charging normally. So happy! 👍🏼✌🏼💥💥
Hair dryer saved my my first generation pro iPad. It's mostlikely because it gets really cold where I live . Apparently if it gets too cold even your iPad can refuse to charge until it's warm enough to charge. I had this iPad since 2011 .
Sometimes its temprature issue (especially in winter).First heat up your ipad and then put it on charge (this works only when your ipad is showing charging sign but percentage not increasing)

I've been having this problen, but once the iPad does open, it's fully charged. Then say a half hour goes by and I get the red battery. Get the iPad started again and it's still at 100% charge. Any ideas?
Mine does that but I noticed that the battery is swelling up and pushing the case apart and the battery is not that old, I had it replaced by Apple. I don't think they even replaced it as I still had the problem.
@@Fix.369 I have a new battery on the way and hope to repair it today or tomorrow. It was in a case so I didn't notice that the iphone was coming apart, I needed the model number off the case, that is when I saw it.

I’ve tried the hairdryer it hasn’t worked so I’m just going to charge it overnight and hope it’s going to work in the morning. Edit, yep it worked you can join the tech gods now. P.S it only needed to go on charge for about 20 minutes.

How old is your iPad? Mine is the first generation ipad pro and it does that sometimes as well . Sometimes some ipads fix after getting a new ipad charger or moving your used charger to a different outlet . Also Make sure your charger doesn't have any dust / debri and make sure your ipads charging port doesn't have debri either. If you need to check for debri in your devices port use a soft clean bristle tooth brush or use a tooth pick thinly wrapped in a paper towel . Then after cleaning the debri out put in your charger again and it should charge back on normally.

Still doesn't work. Probably the Tristar charge controller chip. Opening up and chip replacement required. Basically an $1100 frisbee for the dog to chase.

kleejung9160 Bro, It sounds like your iPad got sutck on Boot Loop. Try force restarting it while on Charge. If it also does not work, you might need to do a DFU Restore. It can fix the issue.☺️
