Chef that is mine and my 21-year-old daughter's favorite pie. We have it every holiday. She cannot go without Dad's egg custard pie! And we make it exactly the same way you do. YUM!!!!!

This pie reminds me of my great grandmother down in Georgia

Hi Chef Jeffrey, this was my dad's favorite pie that only cost $1.50 back in the days in San Francisco. I remembered, I was always amazed how they flip the pie from the tin pan to the cardboard pan, then into the box and tied it with a ribbon. #helpsomebodyoldschoolsoulfood

Looks so yummy! We ate coconut custard pie growing up, because my dad liked that. My mom was not a pie baker, but often she would make baked egg custard with vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg. So good!
