Old Swedish Psalmodikon // Plays again after being forgotten for many years // 

The Psalmodikon was primarily used by school teachers. Schoolchildren did not always afford a schoolbook but every home had a psalm book. Thus children learned psalms as homework. One psalm every day. The teacher used the psalmodikon to learn children to sing the psalms. When Sweden got wealthier schools replaced psalmodikons with Hammond organs.
