Half Year Time so to celebrate we go back in time with some beautiful Older Trucks , and this is just a small tribute to the classic trucks and drivers to let them know we will never forget you

Oh yeah Swishswish386 they were big big days at Thorpdale , I remember the street would be full of Trucks and nobody complained all the locals knew the importance of the Trucks back then it was great . But now gee hardly see a truck and the Milk Bar is closed yeah its a different scene now days .

Aaaaah Sweet Yeah that Kenworth is one of my favorites of all time , I loved it so much i put it in twice LOL . Yeah the Big Mack coming UP the MT-Speed Hill was heading for a load of Spuds yeah that was a Mack R-700 slighty longer Bonnet then the more regular R-600 and yeah you are right most of ours were the R-600s so it was a special day when i saw the R-700 climbing UP mate, gee i was excited the pressure was on not to stuff UP my filming hahahah and then of course we had the mighty Superliners still a few of them getting around today . Thanks for watching really appreciate that mate, I will do another oldie in about six months so keep a look out for it , and just so you know we Aussie's reckon you California folk are cool as well ! 10-4
Great video of a passed era of real truckies, , tarps, flat tops and no pallets under those bags of spuds! And no auto shifts or imports, culture wise all on the same page. Bloody hard work at times, the job has got better in a lot of respects but this has made me sad, there is so much to miss about those days. 😮💨👍
Thanks Truckdad hahah yeah i get what you are saying they were BIG days back then and seems like yesterday really but time stops for no-one i spose , yeah lots of Tarps not many taughtliners although they were just starting to come in . Its funny isnt it now you hardly see a flat top . Thanks for watching hope it bought back the memories

Time indeed stops for no one, to be honest I still have one foot in the 80s, such a monumental influence on my life. A LOT of big days, being a skinny little runt I would never complain, had to try to keep up with the others. I loved those blokes hard, tough but a lot of laughs, often at my expense! Any excuse to put shit on someone ha ha. Definitely characters. you mentioned flat tops, I'm actually surprised that when I see one these days most of those boys have done a good job of tarping. I thought that art would die out. The vid brought back lots of memories, thanks.
at 5 and half min on the footage the black Loui with high black boxes on trailer are carbon-black boxes/bins we got delivered back in the 80,s etc (south pacific tyres) to be mixed up with other powders to make tyres 👌

Gidday mate aaaah yeah I Know exactly how you feel as life just is not the same not being able to sit UP in the saddle and I miss the smell of it all too and the sounds but at least we did it and its in our Soul forever eh mate so keep on Truckin and thanks for your support
