If that soap were anything like the current WCS Duck Fat Soap, then the amount of soap you started with in the bowl appears to be more than 20 times as much as you need. One eighth of a teaspoon's worth is enough for , once the lather is built, five or so passes.

Hi Michael, enjoyed the video as always. It's surprising to me that you didn't like the Gillette Platinums. I think a lot of people really like those blades and pay good money (relatively) for them! YMMV

Great shave Michael. It's always good to see a shave video a day early. Don't forget to turn your clocks back tomorrow night. I'm still trying to find a really good comfortable blade for the Marvel DE. I'll be trying the Vintage Gillette Platinum Plus which were made in Brazil next. They didn't come close to the Israeli Personna Reds in the Rockwell 6C white chrome razor.

The clocks went back a day in the Freedberg household 😁 Considering the amount of wonderful smooth shaving razors, providing easy and incident free shaves, I'm often curious as to why some aim for 'danger' in aggressive razors. Same BBS outcome!

Saturday surprise shave😊 Nice shave Michael💈💈 Baby Smooth? More or less efficient than the original Mamba? Try the Mamba 70 version if possible👌 Oleo makes some nice products, whips up beautifully in the lather bowl😉 I find Gillette Platinum blades to be ok, I toss em' after three shaves anyway. This is bound to test my autistic, awfully set-in-my-ways inclinations :) I think that Yaqi razor head had something of the chamber of horrors implement about it. I suppose some people might like it. Yaqi is becoming a recognisable brand in trad. wet shaving, and some of their gear is well priced and good, too. Thanks for uploading. P.S. Gillette Platinums, I agree. They are OK. Just checked, & only got 5 shaves to a blade and the 5th shave might have been a stretch. Gillette Silver Blues: 7 shaves! A bit of a chasm performance between the two.

What? No Movember? Hahaha! Oh, I'm really sorry that this crap soap from Greece was not a shave soap. Oh well.. The brush is indeed the "mink". This Yaqi company always surprises me. Excellent customer service too. They replaced in no time a tuxedo brush for me because the initial one had more glue bump than normal. Does this Oleo soap contain only Duck Fat or also unicorn Kardashian tallow? PS : I devastated my Rockwell 6c by screwing the handle too much, an now it keeps spinning and doesn't stop. Let's see what Rockwell has to say...
