I have to say, the wait for part 2 was bearable before the trailer came out but now...... 😭 10 days feels so far away!

All right, crazy theory but what if the scene of Colin standing up to Portia is about Penelope wanting to pursue her dreams as a writer? He’s like “how dare you deny her the right to dream…to hope for a better future than you ever could have given her?” Or something like that. We see in the trailer that Portia seems happy that Colin and Penelope are engaged, but we also see in that same trailer that things between Penelope and Portia haven’t resolved so I don’t think the b*tch off between Colin and Penelope will happen when they announce the engagement but rather after the whole Lady Whistledown matter. I think Colin will ultimately be more upset that Penelope hadn’t confided in her, evidently, angry enough to be sleeping on the couch of their new home like we see in the trailer (we see him sitting on the couch with bed pillows and I think a blanket or a bedsheet next to him). But what I think will happen is that Eloise is the one who talks some sense into Colin and explains why Penelope started the whole LW thing. We hear Penelope say to Eloise in the trailer that it gives her power, so I think this will turn into a conversation between Eloise and Penelope about why she feels so dependent on Lady Whistledown and Eloise will come to understand Penelope and that she really does love Colin. Then because Eloise understands where Penelope comes from, she will explain to Colin, and Colin will understand where Penelope is coming from, and will not want to stand in the way of her dreams. In fact, he goes beyond that and stands up to Portia on Penelope’s behalf when it comes to her dreams. I think that would be so much more romantic than what happened in the books, even if what happened in the books was pretty romantic. But maybe that’s just wishful thinking.

I haven't watched all of your video yet, but at 1.51 min. we see a very short scene of a ball and people dancing. I enlarged the standing picture and it seems some have masks on (look at the two ladies in the middle, they have very unnatural faces). Masquerade? Will we get to meet Sophie? Benedict's future wife.

Girl I’m so into Benedict too lol I can not wait for his season he’s my personal fave just because of his facial expressions in every scene lol

I wasn't excepting a new trailer at all for part 2 I thought the trailer for part 2 was the trailer they showed after the end of episode 4. So, when I got up this afternoon my phone was going off saying new trailer, so I clicked on it right away and OMG so excited. Lady Tilly wanted to have a three some with Benedict that's why she's got another man with her. Benedict says he's not ready for that, so he doesn't have the threesome. That's what I hear what happens with that. Colin ends up following Penelope and that's how he finds out she Lady Whistledown like in the books. I think the end scene of the trailer was when Penelope's issue comes out about Cressida being a fraud and Colin looks pissed is because the conversation they have before that she wasn't going to publish the issue but then does anyways sort of like what happens in the books. But I am so freaking excited for part 2.

Eloise needs to shush her mouth and stop being jealous, it's nothing to do with Colin being her brother! I am in serious pain waiting for part 2 coming out!!!!!!

I don't think that's Colin taking off his jacket. I've heard some spoilers claiming that Benedict's story gets extra spicy.

Y'all keep wanting to put down Mama featherington, BUT SHE'S THE BEST MOTHER KEEPING IT REAL, FOR THE TIME PERIOD THEY LIVE IN! (I use caps for emphasis not yelling.) From Marina, to all of her daughters, she is what living and being a woman at that time look like. You are trying to advance your family, she has no son to defend her, so she's playing the game with the cards dealt. And keeping it a buck, no one thought Colin was ever going to suddenly realize he was in love with Penelope the whole time. I love Penelope is getting her man, but y'all need to keep it real about mama featherington too.

Eloise should just go on a trip to bookland or something… she has no personality (she thinks she does) she’s a brat and cruel! But what to expect from rich British noble girl 😂 quite accurate If she’s not like this in the books they did a really poor job with the character
