I think Season 4 will be Francesca. When they hired the girl that plays Michalea it said that the part was for one episode in season three and then for a lead role in season 4. It'll be Francesca next season.
I think they are just introducing a spark between Francesca and Mikayla that won’t be explored for at least a few more seasons, we get a few years of John at least.
I think Eloise is sooo angry because she is so deeply hurt and heartbroken at the thought that Penelope may have used her their whole friendship just to get to Colin. The reason this hurts more than reasonable for us watching is because, I think, Eloise loved Penelope (maybe not just as a friend, but more like LGBTQ). She wouldn't know how to deal with that (even Benedict seems unsure with years of experience). If she's ace or queer, there wouldn't be a way for her to learn or speak about it as a young lady of the ton (they weren't supposed to know about sex at all, let alone anything other than heterosexuality). Sometimes, when you don't understand your feelings and/or have no way to properly express them, you act out or say the wrong things. She may also place on an ASD spectrum like Francesca likely does, in which case, it may impede her understanding of all of this social dynamics, romance, etc. Just because she seems smart and capable doesn't mean that it isn't at least partly an act she has had to learn to get by. The mask slips occasionally when heightened emotions are involved and she does something that seems right to her in a literal sense but doesn't account for the social nuances at all. It would explain why someone who is so "book smart" is also so socially inept and uncomfortable even after a year out in the ton. It would also make the common accusations of selfishness, lack of attention, and cutting remarks seem less like intentional acts or negligence and more like the social gaffes that come from not being able to properly "read the room." Or maybe she's actually as terrible as all the naysayers say she is and I am just projecting a bit. But if she really was that badly behaved on purpose, I think her family would have said something by now or reacted differently. I think they have allowed instinctively for her issues like they have for Francesca's. It would explain why they don't come down on her more for her behavior but instead try to expand her experience and guide her toward better choices. Food for thought.
I read an article that says filming will start in the fall dated today. So it’s more likely there is no filming as Netflix requires them to have written the entire script before they begin filming. The timeline is unclear because the show runner said the epilogue is a year after S3 ends. There was no Eloise in the drawing room, but Benny is. So unless Eloise stays for an extended period, the masquerade ball already happened. Idk how that would work but it may mean the season starts with him having already met her and looking for her. Like with Polin, they may cut short the time he looks for her. Who knows!!! Still think it’s Benny!
Ok, so I loved this episode but truthfully the sex scene was slightly unrealistic. In truth based on the book and even Collin’s comments in the scene he should have focused on her breasts before the hand going south. 🤨
I’m so glad you enjoyed Part 2. I personally thought it was a mess, but maybe on another rewatch I’ll like it better. It just gave me last season of GOT disappointment in the lack of happy Polin.
Loved Pen's big moment about LW but it was so rushed and swept under the rug just like the Polin love story. The Michaela reveal, which I don't mind, undercut John and Francesca's story and was shoved in to clip parts of the Polin married bliss. Benedict's threesome, okay, but nothing came of it and it played out over 2 episodes. We needed more family scenes, it makes no sense that Kanthony just vanished. Anthony is head of the house, would never endanger his wife and baby for months or miss Fran's wedding - and we didn't even get a word about the 'heir' while we got 3 Featherington babies. Last season we saw Daphne in most episodes, now she is barely mentioned so it's painting a bad trend now for all couples.
And I get it, actors constraints and they already did so much talking not showing to explain away many glaring issues but now it's going to take 2 years for season 4? Massive time jump maybe? Because unless they are going international, since Violet only has Benedict and Hyacinth left at home. Colin and Pen live in London I guess? She has no repercussions from LW scandals. But Fran and Eloise are in Scotland, Gregory is at Eaton, Kanthony in India and Saphne evaporated. I thought the Mondrichs were cute but their story arc was...not relevant at all.
I think they are skipping over Fran having her own season. I think next season with focus on Benedict with a side of Francesca. Maybe John dies. Then season 5 it will be El with a side again of Fran and Mic. The ton is not accepting of a queer relationship, so they can not be an out couple. I think the next 2 seasons will explore her queer acceptance and her families acceptance. Then they go live as they already stated their home in the highlands of Scotland where they are secluded.
I'm sad acually..... in the book Francesca loves John very much... I'm dissapointed how the show is creating this situation from the beginning...... I don't want to tell more about the book because of spoilers.
I love John, he is so sweet. Eloise marries Marina's husband. Spoiler, John is supposed to die and Fran becomes a widow. 😢😢😢😢. That is why I am mad they made us love John

And Michael loved John like a brother and is conflicted bc he’s loved Fran since the moment he met her, and when John dies her gets his title, his home, his clothes, and eventually even his wife. He has imposter syndrome. Also the main crux of the story is Fran’s infertility and her desperate desire for a child. This changes so much.
It's going to be Benedict and Sophie, but I read a cliff notes version of Benedict's book. And whether it's Benedict and Sophie or Benedict and Sebastian (male name), it's a little dark. In a romance book. It can get away with it but in a live action it's going to be a little dark. Book. Spoiler it's kind of like a Cinderella but then he's trying to force her to be his mistress and he saves her from getting sexual assaulted. And then she goes to jail and is almost hung and he breaks out of jail. It's a whole thing. So they don't have to change a lot if they don't want it to be so dark
It's not a bit dark. It's gross. Benedict is the worst in the book. And I don't think his book works with his show version, so they going to have to change A LOT. Especially due to the fact Benedict seems very fine with people outside society entering society, as he was very nice to the Mondrichs. Most of the books are disgusting to their female leads (except the first, where Daphne is the one who is gross), even Colin and Penelope. I saw scenes of Colin being super controlling with her in a disturbing way. Anthony is borderline abusive and violent. The Francesca one is horrible too. And Benedict's read very horribly and it's increditly classist and misogynistic. A rich, noble, white man abusing his power over a lower class girl. And people want her to be a woc too which would make it even worse. They most likely not doing that because Benedict is a fan favorite for being nice. Also, I see how the author forced the Cinderella parallels, and as a woman obsessed with Cinderella, i'm offended. If Cinderella was homeless, or even worked at the palace, and the prince was using his power to fuck her? It gives Henry VIII vibes, except Anne Boleyn had all the power over him. It's disgusting. Honestly, most of the books I have no idea why the women stay, except maybe bc they had to. No romance whatsoever, just toxicity and abuse. Apparently, she learned and Hyancinth is mostly fine and so is Gregory's (and that's the one the toxic girlies find boring lol). Honestly, I watched mostly for Nicola, so the only way I will care for Benedict is if they plan to keep exploring his bisexuality, because it was a long time of queerbait for this payoff and he seemed interested in exploring. And I feel both him and Eloise as they are in the show, it will be hard to maintain the original story (also, killing off Marina, another woc, so Eloise and her white husband can raise her babies is also very tone deaf, especially when the guy is not even the father). Hopefully, they have plans to soften things as they did with the others, because it will be 2026 and violence against women is not entertainment.
@@aquele4virou3 this! have you read the books? I read the first 20-30 pages of Anthony's book because I am absolutely obsessed with Kanthony and... I couldn't, it was SO BAD. I hope they don't stick too closely to the books. Also, I screamed when Benedict's queerbating finally ended - I was so mad at it for 2 seasons and to finally have it pay off was so great! Back in S01, I remember learning a bit about Sophie and then proceeding to write a whole alternative script, in which Sophie actually lives as a man and Benedict falls for him, only to later find out it was a woman all along. I wanted us SO bad to have both our queer representation, and appease the fans (and the time period) with a heterosexual couple in the end :D so now I really look forward to the Fran/Michaela storyline. I don't see a problem with two related women sharing the inheritance left by their dead relative in peace and not being asked questions about why they are so close and unmarried :D btw, Benedict is apparently pan. I would have been happy with bi too, of course. for Fran, I was thinking biromantic, homosexual - what do you think? I understand that, in the books, she really loves John.
This episode is my absolute favorite of the entire series. There’s so much in it. I saw an interview with Polin and Nicola said that if we thought Collins declaration of love in the earlier episodes was it then we hadn’t seen nothing yet. OMG! That speech followed by Collins declaration! I was bawling my eyes out 😭. Next season is so hard to read. I agree that it’s definitely not Eloise but Francesca or Benedict? It’s anybody’s guess. I guess we won’t know for sure until Netflix tells us. I do know from watching a couple of videos that it’s actually not going to be released until 2026.😤. I understand why they are drawing the story out, but man it’s so frustrating.
On the end Benedict and Eloise spoke about the masquerade ball. That's the hint for his season. Glad polin got a happy ending but wished for more scenes between them... showing a lot more explanations.... passion... love.... Colin actualy showing Penelope that he stands on her side no matter what....sooner.

Hey hey guys! Would loveeee to hear everyone’s thought on who the next romantic leads for season 4 is. At first I thought it was Benedict and then Eloise. Then I did a bit of a deep dive on the World Wide Web and articles are saying DIFFERENT THINGS 😭😂 Really hoping it’s Benedict 🥹 it’s his time to shine. I was so wrong (and news articles lol) about the actress playing Sophie as she is playing Michaela aha But… idk how I FEEEL about Francesca…. And Michaela…. Where was the sign?? I rather have them to continue to explore Francesca and John’s relationship… it was a refreshing couple. So I’m confused. Michaela and Eloise… yes that makes sense. But Francesca?? The writers really went 0-100 for no reason 😂 At this point everything is ALLEGED! So looking forward to seeing how things goes. Should be Benedict next, the masquerade ball is THE place Sophie famously appears! That dialogue hint at the end was pretty clear. And Francesca is supposed to live a few very defining events before her "real" story happens (no spoilers, you'll have to read the books). The show has obviously made a few major changes but some things already in motion will need to unfold for her story to start. It's almost impossible for her story to come up before Benedicts, or maybe even Eloises story after that as well. We shall see!

I was just going to say that Benedict and Eloise were talking at the end and he was saying he'll be the one behind the mask at their mother's masquerade ball. Now the question is are they going to make? Are they going to keep Benedict with his fluid, sexuality, lifestyle? Or is love going to overshadow his fluidness. I’ve loved all Pen’s outfits this season but for some reason I don’t like her wedding dress, it’s to plain and boring for her, like she’s trying to fit in with the Bridgetons to much
Eloise has not cried in any of her siblings weddings, but she cried when her best friend got married🥹. I have been very frustrated with her in part 1, but we’re starting to see the old Eloise again. Even taking accountability of her actions from last season. I hope to see this friendship back on. Also thank you for your reactions I have been laughing along. You’re so much fun!

Eloise cried bc the girl she loves married her older brother. She even tried to replace Pen with Cressida (who is similar to Pen in so many ways). Eloise is in love with Pen.

The season gave everything, the shots of all the hands, the family dynamics of the featheringtons, the bridgertons, lady danbury, and the Cowpers. Ugh there was so much but i dont want to spoil
