I like the matte finish on it better. Has warmer feeling of regular wood, more natural feeling. Omega has some pretty cool wrist watches. Not my favorite brand but I couldn't imagine not having one or two in my collection, so many iconic and cool models they have.
Thats a nice addition to the box. Congrats on the seamaster, but what colour did you go for? My guess is white dial. I have the blue dial and love it. Keep up the good work.😀👍

May I ask what the sleeve is for? If you pull out the watch cushion, the "Omega" branded bit is just a cuff that slides off of the actual watch cushion. I just got an omega seamaster recently but came with the former box.. First nice watch like this i've gotten new with an original box. But I can't for the life of me figure out what that sleeve is for. I'm guessing just decoration when you don't use it for the watch?
I prefer the old one The old box is a much nicer quality. The inner watch box (of the new one) is very girly and would never be used (for two reasons) so buy a Planet Ocean with the old box while you can 😉 There is a price increase coming in Sept. too😎
Never seen this coming but its NOT a Planet Ocean orange and white , the watch your truly missing ! Reckon its the white dial Smp 🤔 Am chuffed for you fella.
