Most of the logic in OMORI is just bound by Sunny's imagination to be fair More OMORI logic that makes no sense: • More OMORI Logic that ... #omori #omorimeme
Actually, the thing about heating the steak in the microwave without light is a foreshadowing that Sunny usually hallucinates in real life, he's actually eating a raw steak, that's why he's going to vomit immediately after
Wait makes sense actually 🤔 this entire time ive just been going with the assumption that only the lights went out, so he could still use everything else
With Kel it's a stupid as hell decision but I'm guessing since he thought Aubrey pushed Basil on purpose she'd try to stop him from trying to save Basil so he had himself, the more athletic one and who hates Aubrey more try to "hold her off" Telling the guy afraid of drowning to go save the drowning person is stupid too but Kel probably wasn't thinking of that in all the action
Kel doesn't know hes so afraid of drowning. He was a but afraid of water but he would still swim his fears got amplified tenfold in isolation which is why theres a physical manifestation of them.
It’s not really a manner of Kel knowing whether or not Sunny is afraid of drowning. What he DOES know is that Sunny has been in his house for 4 years and probably doesn’t have the best muscle mass to swim, let alone carry someone out of the water. Pretty much Kel not thinking.
@@cordyceps7531 Sunny is pretty strong and durable, he can strike pretty hard, heal by just breathing, take on 3 jobs for 3 days straight and was always smart and skilled enough to outwit everyone, except Basil, he is smarter than most of the main cast.
@@basilofgoodwishes4138 your not wrong, but out of the main characters and even the hooligans, Sunny has the lowest heart, attack, defense, and speed if you don’t equip him with anything, so I guess there’s evidence supporting him being both overpowered and also weak.
Ok to play devil's advocate here: 1. Only the lights are off, basic electricity should work, that is common with people moving away from Suburban towns. 2. Kel was preoccupied with Aubrey as she pushed Basil into the lake, so he wanted to restrain her. Also he forgot the incident with Sunny nearly drowning, so he can be excused here. 3. Mari's is terrifying and defies logic. Thanks for the jumpscare, now I am stressed out. 4. Hero is a Hero, enough said. 5. Basil is scary precisely because you wouldn't expect him to fight you and in Headspace, he is the only entity that can rival Omori's power and Omori's power is nearly infinite.
Tbh I thought of that too but then I thought about it more and it makes more sense than you'd think They likely did do an autopsy and told Sunny and Mari's parents but they kept it a secret as to not let Sunny be ostracised by the town, which I feel like it was implied by the two times you can actually interact with the parents, the dad when he's cutting down the tree and saying Sunny isn't his son, and the mom saying she lost Mari but she won't lose Sunny too The strain of it all was likely why the dad divorced the mom and left It's pretty easy to see why people would think it's a plot hole though since those interactions are pretty easily missed
@@kalo_vera but wouldn’t they still disclose in the news that her death was foul play? I don’t think they would lie in the news and a death like that would surely be in the news right?
Another one: Hero is afraid of the cute little spider bunnies, but isn’t afraid of King Crawler, an enemy that is literally built out of the corpses of creatures it has murdered.
1: Just the lights were out not all of the power, its why the phone works too 2: Kel thought Aubrey was gonna stop him so he was trying to distract her so Sunny could jump in 3: There was nobody at the door that was all in Sunny's head, also the house is haunted which is worth pointing out 4: The headspace characters have literal superpowers, Aubrey can move faster then light, Kel can destroy planets with a basketball lol 5: yea u rite
Seriously tho, that Basil sprite looks intimidating It's like a face of that one friend who never gets angry when they have a bad day and you come to them with some bad news. They are smiling, but they're also breathing heavily, because they are only an inch away from blowing up and bursting out everything you have been pissing them off with for the past 5 years Trust me, I know I am that friend
0:16 Thats an auditory hallucination thats trinks Sunny to thinking its his sister. It’s not an actual ghost 0:25 “How though?” It’s a dream. He can dream about anything he wants lmao
Okay but like, Juice is supposed to be like stamina right? Kel has a lot of it since he is very energetic. This means that in the real world that Sunny, a guy who has been malnourished and shut in for 4 years, is more fit than Aubrey.
Out of the real world cast, you use Sunny's skills most often, so him having more juice is more of a gameplay thing Imagine fighting Omori with very little juice, wouldn't really work very well
@@subconforest But it has to look convincing. We’ve been playing as Sunny for quite a while, so it would be pretty damn weird if when fighting Omori he suddenly had way more juice than normal. But this way, is’s kinda implied that “you can beat Omori with the same stats you’ve always had”. When in reality you’re only supposed to hold out until he finishes monologuing :D... It’s just a really good bluff that way.
-Kel is the most athletic person in the team -still somehow weaker than anybody else(Sunny mastered breathing, Aubrey has nail bat and a lot of hp for no reason, and Hero who mastered magic Bandages)
Another thing is that real world Aubrey attacks you with a nailed bat so that makes it reasonable to use a Knife right? Nope, you're still in the wrong.
to be fair, she never actually uses it. she just carries it around to look intimidating. all her attacks are using her own body (punches, headbutts, etc.) what DOES annoy me is that SHE GETS MAD EVEN IF YOU DON'T USE IT. I TRIED TO BEAT HER WITH ONLY KEL WHILE SUNNY JUST BLOCKS AND HEALS AND IT WORKED BUT NOOO KNIVES ARE ScArYyYY AND WE'RE NOT ALLOWED TO HAVE THEM AROUND *LARGE GROUPS OF PEOPLE PHYSICALLY ASSAULTING US*. AAAAAAAAAA-
@@sophisticatedPJs No to be actual fair, she always uses it, just not as much as her more efficient weapons. You can see clearly a swing animation from one of her attacks, so no she uses that Bat, why would she even carry it, if she were to not use it. She isn't good at psychological warfare, she is a brute.
@@basilofgoodwishes4138 the thing is if she was using that bat, Kel & Sunny would likely be taking a lot more damage in game. Sunny is particularly weak, & would likely be knocked out in a single hit. So unless Aubrey's just poking at them with the bat, I don't think she's using the bat in battle.
You all are probably mistaking gameplay elements with story. For story purpose they probably don't even fight and Aubrey just back off after seeing Sunny pulling out a knife.
Funny how Basil, both with and without his "silly expression" state, is quite threatening. Like, his in-game variant is funnily enough one of the most dangerous enemies, which makes sense with what is shown in the video.
The power outage was probably a hallucination. We cannot trust as we are the player, it COULVE been why he threw up. In the 2014 trailer it showed uncooked steak too
I still think that the lake scene is really stupid. Kel knows Sunny can't swim, & Kel is the most athletic of the group. Yet he still sends Sunny to help Basil not drown because he wanted to talk with Aubrey or something. Couldn't Kel help Basil, then talk to Aubrey? It dosen't make sense. Then your telling me Hero just happened to hear what was going on in their old hangout spot, got the intel that Sunny & Basil were in the lake & pulled them back up. What if Hero was held up in traffic or if he wasn't near the hangout spot & couldn't hear the commotion. I'll tell you what would happen, Sunny & Basil would be 6 feet under. All because of Kel's stupidity & Aubrey not thinking about what she was doing. That whole scene always felt stupid to me. Or maybe I'm missing something.
Kel could dive in after realizing that Sunny and Basil were taking long to come back up and save them. And Kel didn't know that Sunny couldn't swim since when they were younger Sunny would swim with Kel and Hero, and he perfectly remembered that Basil can't swim, so why wouldn't he remember Sunny? Also, we don't know how long they were both in the water and what happened while Sunny was in the water, Hero could've showed up and a conversation would go like: H: "KEL! What's with all the commotion!?" K: "HERO! Basil is in the lake and I told SUNNY to go help him! Now I'm trying to talk to-" "Oh shoot, they're both still in there! I gotta go in and-" H: "Don't worry, I got this." **dives in** There's just too few details to make out what actually happened in between events. Good lord this debate makes me angry for no reason 😂
If Aubrey did anything to fight Backstreet Kel, he probably could've handle it, unlike Sunny, it was a stupid decision, but it was a panic moment, Hero can have the snacks done outside of battle, and how he balances the egg? It's either glued to the pan or idk, physics, and Basil isn't threatening when he is calmed, but in the stress of the moment and the fact that he has garden shears makes him threatening
The one thing im most confused about is that due to the fact that Mari fell down a flight of stairs, she'd probably have broken bones and bruises. That combined with the fact that he never appeared to have suicidal intentions and was a very happy, reasonable person, there would've at least been an autopsy. An autopsy would've revealed internal injuries, leading the police to believe that it was murder. Basil and Sunny would have been prime suspects. Since none of this at all happened, I am led to believe that the police force is very incompetent-- nay, it doesn't even exist! Or maybe that all did happen, the police couldn't prove that it was basil and/or sunny, and Sunny just forgot about the whole thing
If i was in their situation, i would say that Mari fell down, I tried to grab here but only got her dress then she fell down, pulling out of my hand. Bam. Explained. No consequences.
@@thegrimreaper6150 What about the hanging though? In your explanation, Mari (if she happened to be alive still) couldn't have possibly dragged herself all the way to the backyard to hang herself, right? Why would she hang herself it was just a mere accident she brought on herself?
I think sunny thought he microwaved it cus yk he sees things 🤪 Kel just wanted to deal with Aubrey cause sunny doesn’t even talk 😎 Hero is just a pro at balancing eggs obv he’s a chef 🤩 I’m sure sunny opened the door for hellmari I don’t remember but I’m sure he did thinking it was just Mari 😱 Basil will trick you by thinking he can’t hurt you while he’s literally someone in peoples nightmares yea your fear just turned into a game character 😰
Yeah bc Kel sending the weak guy who hasn’t left his house in four years to face off against a nail-bat-wielding bully who just pushed someone into a lake would be soooo much smarter
Welll I haven’t looked deep into the lore but… So Mari died from falling down a stairs, that would have blunt dmg alll around the body, and they framed it as a hanged suicide which would only dmg the neck? Show me the light people
Its implied Sunny's parents covered it up. Sunny's mom says "I've lost my only daughter, I can't lose my only son too" why would she lose him unless she knows he killed Mari. Also in the dream world you can see Sunny's dad cutting down a tree and he says "you are not my son" he lost all love for sunny when he found out
Power's not out, the lights are off, the microwave still works and that's how we can tell. Sunny was the first to react, at least that's what I thought happened Auditory hallucinations suck It's a dream world, use your imagination How dare you slander Basil
Nah, canonically Kel, Hero, Mari and Sunny can swim since we learn about it in the Lost Library. Basil is technically the only one who can't. Sunny got his fear of *drowning* after almost doing so before Mari saved him, and that fear got amplified tenfold after the four years. Kel probably remembered that sunny could swim and didn't think of the details in the heat of the moment.
She also had a nail bat which makes it seem kind of reasonable to also use a dangerous weapon. I think her calling Sunny a weirdo is because he was just randomly carrying not a pocket knife, but a kitchen knife.
1 - There are types of Microwaves that works without energy 2 - Maybe selfish, maybe he couldn't, maybe he didn't knew how to swin either, who knows 3 - The ghost is Sunny's imagination, so he also hallucinated the knocks 4 - Girl, that's an rp 5 - Cause in real life it is normal to be scared of people who aren't that physically scary
Nah cuz Kel probably felt the need to argue with Aubrey and get it through to her that pushing Basil into the water is a bad thing, leaving it for Sunny to save Basil. If Kel saved Basil, I imagine Sunny wouldnt have really talked tbh
Basil refuses to take pictures of Kel in headspace,a manifestation of real life Takes pictures of Aubrey when she asks during the gross color flashback
Sunny is literally the one other person known for nearly drowning, why did Kel send Sunny to get Basil?! The game references it four times, that Sunny can't swim! The Lost Library memories, Aquaphobia/Something in the Water, the Final Duet, and Omori is also scared of drowning! He can't swim! And no, losing a fear of drowning does not count as a swimming lesson! HE CAN'T SWIM!
The thing is, all those reference are on his mind, we as the players could only see it. Kel never knew directly that Sunny has thalassophobia (yes, the lake incident back when Mari saved him, Kel saw that but he aint gonna be thinking about that in the heat of the moment)
I think the reason Kel told Sunny to do it was so he could take care of Aubrey…and he’s just stupid. /lh And all the headspace stuff (Hero cooking, Mari) is simply just imagination/depression/hallucination logic. Plus I would be pretty terrified if my dead sister came at me with no arms. /lh
Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure sunny can swim. I've seen a lot of people saying he can't but the game never outright says he can't swim just that he's afraid of drowning. The only reason he failed the first time is because a spider landed on him. Although even if he did still know how to swim after 4 years he wouldn't have the strength to swim let alone while carrying someone.
First one, I think it's specifically the lights that go out, not the power of the whole house. After all how would the fridge light be on? Second one This isn't Omori logic is that's Kel logic. Rest is Headspace/hallucination logic so eh, and last one is what a psychotic breakdown does to a person.
things that don't make sense to me in omori 1 headspace mirror: as someone who studys dreams as a hobby, when you look in a mirror inside a dream you're not going to see yourself, you're going to see a random things or memorys from your subconscious, unfortunately most people who looked in mirrors inside their dreams saw very disgusting/disturbing things such as... shadow figures, demonic versions of yourself the list goes on.
I guess Omori is technically Sunny's avatar/repressed guilt so no wonder we don't see a younger version of Sunny in Headspace. Oh and also there's a small chance when spamming the mirror you can get a jumpscare where their faces turn into something horrifying, that could be the representation of the demonic version that Sunny sees in his dreams
