On Target by "America"

Such a smooth song by Gerry Beckley and Dewey Bunnell. If you are a casual listener to "America" you might think , hum-- a little Carl Wilson influence? You would be so right! Another selection that has similar attributes to this particular song would be "Overwhelming World Suite" from the "Human Nature" CD. Many thanks to this awesome band!

This was never a hit. But it's nice to hear. One of what Dewey Bunnell calls an "obscure album cut" - Just like every other one. America is the most under rated band in the universe.

Wilcey Whatweekindo 100% agree! I'm forever telling people to get past the hits, because that's where the true magic is. I mean, what's better, Horse With No Name or Amber Cascades? Really now...

@@brennalee8709 "Amber Cascades" actually got alot of radio airplay where I lived. I was a sophomore in high school when America's Holiday album was released in early 1976 and heard Amber Cascades on the radio all the time. Beautiful song!❤️💯

@@ilovegoodsax That's cool! The only more "off the wall/non hits" I've heard on the radio were Young Moon, From A Moving Train, and Head and Heart.
