East winds, bigger tides and we're now into Spring, its great time of year with Rays, Codling, Bass, Plaice and some early Smooth hound all staring to show, my trip consisted of some long periods of nothing and then bang on high tide and plump Codling show's up, you cant beat a prime fat Spring Codling, nothing taste's quite like it.

Good video Andy well done on finding a cod I haven't had any cod for about a month now when I was catching a few they have been in great condition and between 4 and 5 lb

@derekjefferson1324 thanks for watching, it's 18lb Sylcast, used to buy bulk spools from Trago Mills, for rough ground. All it's. 4mm abit thicker than most it's perfect for 2 or 3 sessions on the reefs and very cost effective.

@mrsamomidi thanks for watching, Yes thats correct, when my hands get wet or indeed cold, it helps grip the rod better. Also its slightly more comfortable, somthing I've done on all my rods for years.
