He say's "Not too loud". Yeah if you are at a rock concert. But, a good install. Now it is time to install air bags on that truck and get a really good ride.
Had no idea they made those add-a-circuits. I put a compressor in my Ranger as well, but I actually made a fused switch that plugged into the 12v accessory plug in the truck (not ideal, I know) worked fine didn't have any issues, but definitely going to change that out.
One wire from your switch went to the add a circuit, the other went to the compressor? Where exactly did the other wire go, to the pressure switch or relay, or what? Thanks man great video
You're just referring to the wire used to energize the relay, correct? If so, I believe it was setup as add-a-circuit---> Toggle Switch ---> Pressure Switch ---> Relay. That way, the relay will be energized if and only if the toggle switch is on and the pressure is less than whatever the pressure switch is calibrated to come on at. Does this make sense? I'm not an electrician and I'm going by memory, so you shouldn't take this as any kind of wiring advice :-)
+GunPilot It is possible. Mine takes 2 minutes to fill the air tank that I am currently using and only comes on again if I blow the horns for a long blast. I am not sure what the duty cycle is like on these compressors
