The part I hate most about this ship was that Neal was dead set on being with Tamara until he found out she was lying. I just don't buy his love for Emma. The whole time he was like "I know you still love me, but I am with Tamara. Stop being so jealous, Emma." Then Tamara turns out to be evil and suddenly he is all about Emma? Okay beau. I prefer people that make their choice before it is made for them.
+Birdie Wolf Exactly. Now I liked Neal, but honestly I love Emma with Hook much more. I didn't like it either how he was all about Tamara and never even looked at Emma like he ever wanted to get back with her, and then yet when Tamara betrays him, its like "oh now I love Emma again and I'm gonna tell her I'm never gonna stop fighting for her." Like no. He was just engaged and going to marry someone else like two seconds ago. I mean seriously when he told her he'd never stop fighting for her, it's like when did he ever start? Certainly not while he was with Tamara that's for sure. I hate how the writers just decided to magically create a love triangle between Emma Hook and Neal for no reason. There was absolutely no reason for it. All I saw between them two when he came back into her life was a friendship and they were good parents to Henry, that's it. There was nothing romantic about them anymore.
angien306 Neal was terrified that Emma would never forgive him enough to be with him again. The wedding was never going to happen, even Rumple knew it. Neal was always in love with Emma, Emma was always in love with Neal. Emma was afraid of getting hurt again. Neal was afraid that Emma would never forgive him. They had a beautifully sad story of a tragic love story. Both terrified, and before they could both over come the fear Neal dies. If Neal had not died, SwanFire would have been endgame.
Laura Schoenborn I don’t agree. Neal never really seemed to care about her that much or prioritize her until the decision was made for him so... they weren’t meant to be. But Captain Swan on the other hand... definitely is.

If he were alive he would have to learn to move on because he messed up his chance. Hook was meant to be her love interest from the start. I mean let's start of with the fact that Tallahassee was meant to parallel her interaction with Neal with her interaction with Hook. If Neal and Emma were truly gonna be endgame why would they do that? The whole point of that episode was to showcase how she felt the same kind of connection with Neal with Hook and the whole reason she betrayed Hook was because she was scared of that feeling considering how it burned her last time. And he said he was scared Emma never forgive him, well he was right to be scared because she wouldn't at least not enough to enter in a relationship with him. That much was clear in echo caves. I don't really see what was so beautifully tragic about their story. I mean I have no idea why he and August conspired to put her in prison. Pretty sure abandoning her would have done the trick, but prison?!? For your crime?!? Then when we meet up again you start bragging about your new relationship? And using every chance to call me jealous and enjoying it? Then choosing your fiancé every time up until she shot you?? Nah. Plus their actual relationship was a mess. Where is the appeal? The only reason anyone liked them was because they had a son together and therefore they should be together. What do they have without Henry? Not a damn thing.
@BeautyQueen2023X i kinda forgot about this show, its been so long lol Emma and Hook both had their bad moments, but they grew and eventually learned from their mistakes. It made them stronger as a couple and were better for it. I still stand by the fact that Hook was better for Emma than Neal. Although I wish Neal would've stuck around a bit longer. Would've been nice to see Neal and Emma co-parent Henry.
I love Emma/Neal their story is epic and tragic, I'm very happy with his confession, Its good to hear Nealfire say he regrets his decision. Swanfire have true love; they deserve their happy ending, their Tallahassee dreams to come true. I hope the final scene of the show is Emma/Neal's true love kiss, then flash to Emma/Neal/Henry riding horses and having adventures in their castle, s happy family, while Snow,Charming, Rumple, Belle have tea inside, and Regina/Hook sail away happy and kissing..
@@nayeliserrato5799 I don't like Emma and hook at all because the ship came out of nowhere... Every single little chat between Emma and Neal were so emotional and strong. Both actors did it well and I wished that they could've made it. But sadly they killed Neal off...
I love them together, dont like that they threw in the handsome pirate XP I hope these two end up together happily ever after with their son at the end. But who knows.

Well if it was me I'd forgive him, but I would never let him in again and I would never trust him again. For one thing Emma and Neal (some people call them swanfire) have zero chemistry. Another thing they weren't meant to be a couple. The only thing that was good that came out of them being together was Henry. Other than that just a dead brokenhearted past and nothing more. I am shipping captain swan because Emma and Hook actually DO have chemistry and he does deserve her because he at least never broke her heart like Neal did. If the makers of Once Upon A Time wanted Neal and Emma to be together I would think we would have seen bigger signs in this third season and also there probably wouldn't have been such a 'OMG WTF' moment when Emma and Hook kissed in one of the episodes. So don't be thinking she is ever going back to Neal and she is for sure not ending up with Regina at all. I don't even know how anyone came up with the whole Swan Queen thing when everyone knows that isn't even possible. Like the makers of this show would actually place them together when they hadn't have a moment that didn't show their hate or just a little bit of their respect for each other but nothing more than that.
I say CaptainSwan, but I'm really doubting the relationship lasts. He's a Pirate and always will be one. She's a Savior and always will be one. She's there to save everyone and give everyone a happy ending, not just him. I like Neal/Baelfire the most, but I accept anything the writers throw in there. Mostly because no RU-vid comments can change what the writers have already written or are writing as we type our opinions.
I really like Neal/Baelfire but I really don't think he'll end up with Emma... I think the writers are really setting up a Hook romance for Emma (we haven't even seen any real swanfire scenes in the past few episodes) Whichever guy she ends up with this show is definitely amazing!
hahahha i loved that ending! i can't keep from laughing imagining Rumple having tea with Belle, Snow and Charming. hahaahha i just cant xD I would love to watch Emma, Neal and Henry in their own castle, dressed like fairy tale characters, spending time like a family♥ that ending is in danger with Hook and her fans around, and that worry me :(
Yay! An apology, ten years too late and not when Emma asked for it. No, when she asked for it Neal laughed in her face. When she told him Tamara was lying he belittled her ability "yeah I never bought that". When she says now is NOT THE TIME for this, he ignores her and plows ahead anyway. This is supposed to be true love? I struggle to call it love at all, the way he patronizes her.
I read it and saw interviews in more then one place..Think about it from Charming point of view someone sent his daughter to jail..I does mean they can't ship their characters.
I love their relationship, but before August turned into Pinocchio as a child, I thought that they had something there, and I was sort of hoping that would happen where as Neal could be happy with Tamara until she turned evil. Shame, but I do love this relationship as well. :)
She told him she did before he fell through the portal..Everyone (Henry, Snow, Charming and Rumple have all made comments that they still love each other..
I feel like even if he survived Season 3 Emma and Hook would've still gotten together cuz they weren't officially back together really, they were still figuring things out while also juggling all the chaos
He went to Neverland for quite some time, so its possible he wasn't THAT much older than her... maybe a couple months, maybe a couple years, maybe several years; we just don't know :/
Neal is technically over 200 years older than Emma, but so is Hook. Anyways, I have a feeling that she's not going to end up with either of them. Maybe at the end of this season, but not the end of the series. I think this because Once Upon a Time is always throwing surprises at us.

can't remember where I heard it but when Emma was 18 (or when she first meets neal) he is 24 - I think - there is a 6 year age gap, however neal sais if time existed the way we experience it - he would be about/ over 200 years old! when emma is 28 (Hook stabs gold episode)? don't quote me i'm just guessing based on certain things characters have said, and that's if continuity is up to date ;)

(Or she chose Tallahassee) and 1 week later, Neal finds out that Emma is wanted for stealing watches in the city of Phoenix and advises him to go to the police and she agrees to go to the police for love of neal and he decides of retrieve the watches . and a month later (While than Emma is in prison) Neal recovers the watches And meet August And he speaks to him of emma and Neal Decides to go see the chief of fireman And to tell emma that he died saving a family from a fire,And decides to give a letter of love for emma to auguste And give her if she discovers the truth about magic or if the curse is broken,And when emma leaves prison she goes to see the fire chief and suspects that neal is always alive.
I ship Swanfire and all, but I don't get why Neal couldn't have just gone to jail anyway and then broken up with Emma, refusing to talk to her again. Then she'd still be on the track to break the curse, because they'd be apart.
people in here who are complaining about Neal,let me tell you this!Emma tried to make Tamra like evil by saying,she know the fairy tale names of all people in Storybrooke!not that Emma was wrong!but we all saw that in previous episodes,Neal told his past and the history of Storybrooke and it's characters and their true names to Tamara!and I knew that Neal isn't gonna believe that kind of excuse!it's obvious!why should anyone be suspicious by hearing something which they told themselves?and considering their situation of course anyone would think Emma's just jealous!considering Neal liked to believe that!and in here he actually accepted to come and see everything with her?see if Tamara is lying or not!did he found anything which proves it?NO!
in the flashbacks, when Baelfire was a kid, he looked about twelve years old, and that was BEFORE Emma was born. So is he quite a bit older than her then?
