Everyone is so worried about ships. Can we all just take a moment to praise Emma for this fight scene?! I wish there were more scenes like this. She has magic and can fight. By the end of this show, she'll be the strongest character, rivaling Rumple.
Oh my god! He said it. He said,"I Love you." And he sacrificed himself, for the women he loves. For their son can have at least one parent, unlike them. The producers were right. This was x10000 sadder than Graham's death. Right in the swanfire feels!!!!
As an adult now going back to this show. I have a lot of issues with it. Mostly with "CaptainSwan". Emma and Neal were soul mates. The fact that they were kept apart most of the time made sense as a show full of conflict. The two character rarely get together til the end. Happily ever after, if you will. The writers pushed CaptainSwan so hard because fans liked it. Hook was hot and he was into Emma. But if Emma picked Neal. Watching a side story of a heart broken pirate would have been much more interesting to me. Especially since he had a true love. If they were able to bring Milah back somehow, that would have been such an interesting dynamic with not only Hook, but Rumple and Neal. In Disney they push one true loves hard, and this was not that. I stopped watching after Neal died. The only character that made Emma interesting to me.
Neal's actor had other projects to work on. I'm not sure that this was the only reason, but it'd be pretty hard to have Emma end up with Neal without Neal

I love the Emma and Hook ship but something about the love between Emma and Neal is just so real and they are so perfect for each other. I just don't know which paring I love more. There are moments when I just love Swanfire to death and I hate any notion of Captain Swan, but there are other times like when Hook and Emma kiss and I just don't know.
Emma didn't let go of Neal. Neal let go of Emma, so she wouldn't follow him so Henry wont be alone. That's a fathers love. That's one of many reasons Neal and Emma should be together because Emma needs to be with someone who loves Henry as much as she does, and that's Neal. We haven't seen any real Hook/ Henry moments. Does anyone else find it creepy that people think that Emma should be with her baby-daddy's step father. I mean these people are really screwed up.

This was such a great scene. I think I gotta a little teary. I'll admit at first I was a Hook and Emma fan but then Neal comes back into Emma's life and I completely fell in love with his chracter and now I whole heartedly believe that Neal and Emma belong together. I can't wait for them to be reunited and reunited with Henry.
Neal should get more epic moments. Recently, all we get is Rumple and Pan. How come Baelfire, who's just as much of an adult and a 300-year old, doesn't get a say in this father-son war the two of them are having?
Jen Morrison and Michael Raymond-James absolutely OWNED these scenes. I cried the first time I saw it and I'm still crying over it now and I'm on like, my fifth time now. SO MANY EMOTIONS. Their reunion in the future (no way is he actually dead) had better be EPIC!!!! =(
+Freya whyte I'm sure Hook and Emma still would have gotten together if Neal hadn't died. She was already starting to lean more towards Hook. She blew off Neal when he asked her out on that date. He said his sorry's and tried to make it right, but she was still extremely hurt from his actions to even consider being with him again. She kissed Hook in Neverland too. You could tell Emma may have loved Neal, and would always love him, being that he was her first love, but you could clearly tell she was no longer IN love with him. And this is coming from a Swanfire fan too. I really loved Neal and Emma together, but honestly, Hook is so much better for Emma. She's not the same person Neal used to know way back when, she's different, and it was kind of foolish of Neal to think he could just pick up right where they left off, or try to start something new again, especially since before he even really started pursuing Emma, he was about to MARRY another woman, and was so dead set on being with her and never doubting the woman he was with, instead of believing Emma. Hook was more better suited for Emma more than Neal was at this point in the series.
+angien306 its just the swanfire feels and i understand that emma and neal had many opportunities to get back together but they didn't. But its just when they say i love you in this scene and Emma looks so happy when neal tells her he loves him. And in season five in that scene they havd chemistry and that. they also have a few cute moments before his death which makes me question if they would of got back together, i wish they did. Like i ship captain swan and swanfire and i think Emma and Hook are good together aswell i honestly cried when she had to leave him behind but he came back :)
freya whyte I know exactly how you feel. I loved that we got to see Neal for a moment in season 5. It was nice knowing that he wasn't stuck in the Underworld and in a better place. I wish they hadn't killed him off, they could've done so much with his character. I did want to see them back together as well, but I still feel like even if they did get back together, I still feel she would choose Hook in the end. And I cried too lol I think everybody did, I swear Jennifer is an amazing actress. She has amazing chemistry with just about anyone.

It was almost like she was delaying it or she didn't want to at one point because hook would flirt with her but she didn't seem too interested at first? And I thought that was because she loved Neal. And also Neal's Henry's dad so I thought that would be another reason to why she would choose Neal. She genuinely looked so sad after he fell through the portal and when she told Mary Margaret about it which showed she had feelings. In neverland she didn't really choose between the two although she kissed Hook. But then when she found out Neal was alive she literally dropped everything to rescue him and she didn't seem very interested in hook for a few episodes after... and they defiantly shouldn't of killed Neal off, he's so sweet and charming. He's literally my fave character along with Robin Hood and emma ofc... They kill off all the good characters
freya whyte I think it took so long for her to get with Hook was because she was still so hurt over what Neal had done. Yes, he was her first love. And I think because of that she didn't want to go through that ever again, because to her, he was just another person who abandoned her. All her life she had thought that her parents had abandoned her, she was scared to let Lily, the only friend she made into her life. Then she met Neal who seemed different than anyone else, and then just when she was starting to feel happy and the love she always wanted, he left and abandoned her too. So when she met Hook, and when he was constantly flirting with her, I agree that she didn't seem interested. She was kind of delaying in being with him, because I think even though she wanted to, she was just too scared of being left again, especially when it came to love because of how much Neal hurt her. I agree that she did look genuinely sad about Neal falling through the portal. And no doubt that she still loved him, but I just feel like even though he was her first love, she was no longer in love with him. I think he hurt her too much for her to actually want to fall back in love with him. Idk, I think Hook was the only one who was truly able to get passed her walls and defenses that she always put up, and made her see that it was okay to love again. I also agree about Robin. I hate that they killed him off, I felt so bad for Regina, she's always loosing her loves. I heard that Sean McGuire (Robin) actually wanted to move on to different projects and that's why they had to kill him off or something.

The confrontation on the beach was definitely dealing with a lot of their past! Neal will always be Emma's first and only love and Henry's father. She will always be tied to him
Yeah your right Charring and Snow are just like Emma and Bae. I hope Hook can find his ttue love agina though too. Emma deserves her happy ending with her true love and the rest of her family.
They should’ve ended up together. Hook was a better fit for Regina; they both went on revenge rampages after losing their respective lovers, and thus were the only people who really could’ve understood each other. Belle herself says in s3 that Emma & Neal share true love; that never should’ve been retconned. Imagine how much better it would’ve been if Neal had lived and gone through the time portal with Emma instead of Hook. Neal could’ve seen his father in the middle of his relentless search for him, which would’ve enabled him to truly understand for the first time just how much his father loved him and regretted letting him go. It would’ve been the perfect opportunity for great character development for him as well as Emma as they both truly see their parents for the first time. It would’ve been a brilliant 180 from the start of s3 where Neal no longer trusted Rumple. That shared connection of gaining new perspectives of their parents would’ve brought them back together for sure.
I believe Neal is Emma's true love!.I have since the start of season two. Fate separated them for a reason and fate has brought them together again.Clearly they still love each and its not just unresolved feelings.That explains why no other relationships have worked out for either of them because they are meant to be.Yes, there may have been some attraction between Hook and Emma but it's nothing more then that.Emma and Neal are the equivalent of Charming and Snow.They almost parallel each other.
It's still ticks me off that to practically force Captain Swan on us, the show's writers just killed him off later on. Also annoys me that Emma just let him die while she went running all gung ho to the underworld for Hook after he died. #*Swanfire for life*

we haven't seen much of that backstory with milah and hook, and the bae abandon..so we can't really judge by now..so i really hope we can see more of that on s3. i would like to know more of what happened there.

I honestly think that Captain Swan is a hot couple, their love/hate, their attraction is what people like. But, man Neal/Emma they are each other's true love, she loves him and even if sometimes she might be angry at him she always will love him, same thing for Neal. I really hope they make him a series regular in S3 and that they all move in another land (which I believed is what happened to Neal). SWAN THIEFS FTW

Emma Swan has been through a looooottt of things from the beginning. Why can't they make her a happy even for a little while? (Not the happily ever after thing yet, I'd still love to see Jennifer Morrison and this show.) This got me teary though ;(
For anyone slagging off Captain Swan. Just remember Neal is gone (not dead, but in another land) so Emma will be left to confide in Hook for season 3. Which will start up a love triangle once Neal gets back. So honestly, it could go either way, we don't know

I knew they never stopped loving each other. what they had before neal left emma to fulfill her destiny, is not something that can be broken ever. And I was so glad that Tamara was finally exposed! i hate her! (the character not the actor)
That's what I'm afraid of. That they create CaptainSwan without thinking it through, just to please CS shippers. Yeah, I'm also hoping that for Regina and Charmings, and that Rumple and Hook will learn to get along with each other too (I'm not convinced that Hook is really done trying to kill him) and maybe even be able to have a refreshing conversation.. I know that's propably not going to happen anytime soon, but one can always hope :D

I really like the relationship between Neal and Emma, but I preferred them more to be just friends when he came back into Emma's life. To me, Neal was Emma's first love, and Killian is her present and future. You could clearly tell during season 3 that Emma wasn't IN love with Neal anymore.

It's a bit difficult to imagine Neal with woman who has slaughtered entire village, killed her own father, raped and killed the huntsman/Graham, tried to poison Emma, and so on... But then again, the writers said that "she (Regina) might have to rip his heart off to get it (love)". Yeah, maybe there is still one more betrayal coming to Neal...
That was not a catfight, but pro wrestling right there DAYUUUM when Emma threw Tamara on her ass was I excited. Neal can't be dead! Emma CANNOT end up with Hook, last thing she needs is someone to have to save from their evil ways (like Belle) She needs either Neal or August (but those doors appear to have been shot).
neal is not dead and he will go straight back to emma and neal I love them and their chemistry neal wantd a family with emma to begin with and thats what he got. swanfire is endgame I adore them.
