The scene immediately after this and before *that*, where he's telling her that the thought of her and his memories with her got him through prison, and the way he says, "Nobody's gonna love you the way I loved you," after he recites Song of Solomon to her. "Do you know how important that was to me?" I can't tell if it's a subtle threat on purpose or not, and that's scary af.

I think I was 15 when I first saw this movie (by accident), growing up in the age of MCU I had never seen anything like it and I remember being completely taken by the beauty of it. It's one of those films that leave a deep impression on your outlook of life..Riposa in pace maestro Leone!

This movie is one of the greatest of all time. The directing, acting, story, Ennio’s score. I don’t even care about the runtime. But that scene in the limo is so horrific, I’ve been scared to give it a second viewing.

I say this with pleasure. The entire soundtrack is by Ennio Morricone. May he rest in peace. The name of this piece is Amapola. Sergio Leone wanted him for the entire soundtrack of his masterpiece. Absolutely timeless and the perfect collaboration. Ennio is the master of the movie genre. You will recognize his genius from other films as well. Just research soundtrack. If you are a lover of music you will fall in love with his masterful work. May he rest in peace. God bless Ennio
