arguably, the biggest of yikes on this one Dex. the gasp that left my body when he said THAT. immediate tears. I thought that this was going to be a fun and adorable little vacay together. two besties having a little flirt and the best time. and we got that in the beginning. things were getting flirty and then it was all ruined. my heart hurt for Emma and I felt it sooooo hard when she spoke about how it felt like he wanted her to be in the corner always twinkling for him. all of the air left my body 😭 I just love the way she speaks so so much! here's to hopefully a happier episode next time but probably not 🩶

I really like your reactions! As a British Asian(we tend to refer to South Asians as Asian as we are the biggest minority group in the UK) Emma being played by Ambika Mod has made me feel more seen! I also adore her saying about Dex expecting her to still "twinkle away" for him. Relatable! Finished this on the 13th of Feb and still not over it 😭

Omg that’s so awesome that Emma is helping in that way!! I love her delivery of lines and her facial expressions in certain instances! She’s done such an incredible job playing Emma!!! Such a great show! 🩶

The fact that she started off as a comedian and started doing some acting (taking a few acting lessons) shows how much of a natural she is!! 🩶🩶

I'm sooo glad you're doing reaction videos for this show. I love Em/ Ambika too! This series is emotionally gripping (I felt connected to the characters when watching it) which I think it is rare thing for TV/ films to be able to do.

I feel that Emma hurt Dexter’s feelings at dinner. She was dishonest saying that she didn’t still have a crush on him when she clearly did. And, that her crush went away when she got to know him. That was insensitive and hurt him. Dexter was actually being honest when he said he still fancied her but wasn’t ready for a serious relationship. He was insensitive by saying he likes everyone, kind of wants to play the field. At this point neither of them is ready for a romantic relationship.

I totally agree! I think they both say hurtful things to protect themselves and their feelings in a way. like Emma saying it went away after getting to know him. she was playing it off as a joke, not meaning to hurt him but was protecting her heart and I feel like dexter was doing that as well, however, he messed up telling her they could always fool around lmao 🤣
