I liked your video very much. It looks like a beautiful place. But you keep referring to Atlixco as a small town. A city of over 125,000 population isn’t a small town!
This red flower is called Noche Buena or the Aztec name Cuetlaxochitl. A gringo who became the first American embassador to Mexico stole the flower from Mexico and patented under his name Joel Roberts Poinsett! That is why they are known as Poinsettias🇲🇽!
Great video! Liked and subscribed! I see the hotel you stayed at was about a half hour walk from the city center. Did you take a taxi or Uber and was it easy to do? I was previously thinking of staying at a hotel in the center, but that Hacienda looks amazing.
As a former resident of the place, born in New York, I lived there for seven years, to be exact. I like the place for the family ties and my upbringing there. Personally, I enjoy taking long hikes into the countryside in those areas. The city is small, but the scenery is beautiful right next to the town. Also, that "hill" is a mound packed with pre-Hispanic artifacts, in the middle of the town, and many tourists get altitude sickness because the town is already at 6,000+ feet in elevation. Have an awesome day, though.
One of if not my favourite city I ever visited. Love everything about Mexico City and the surrounding areas. Great episode as always😃. I guess I'll book another trip soon eh 😉 I am a fan now!
Great video! I recommend visiting the nearby town of Chipilo, closer to the city of Puebla, which has amazing Italian food and history. Good for a Saturday or Sunday to people watch, try one of the many restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as getting their amazing gelato and buying dairy products like their incredible cheeses, yoghurts, sour creams, natas, and even their corn polenta to take back with you!
Thank you! 😊 I tried doing them in spanish but the revenue was not worth it. Unfortunately I don’t have time to manage 2 channels at the moment ☹️ so I had to go for the channel with the most revenue and audience. Hopefully in the near future I can manage both channels but for now I had to prioritize and focus on this channel. Lo siento 😢
another superb video... your videos have always been great but you seem to be getting better all the time and I like how you are doing more talking to the camera and other people. what an amazing town! so beautiful and clean! in Canada we call the Nochebuena flowers "Poinsettias". I would easily stay here 3 days. I love to soak in the vibe of places rather than just see the main attractions and then leave...
Hi Israel 🥰 I want to be in flower City! Looks like a beautiful place to be. Hope you and your partner are doing well. Thanks for sharing this very beautiful video with us here on RU-vid. Is it affordable to live in a City 🏙️ like that? 😱 OMG!! You got nice and thick, 8:35 but you wear it well. Not to worry, I'm old enough to be your mama. Next month I turn 65 years young, and I think I need to go to Mexico... soon! ♥╣[-_-]╠♥
Hey Israel, I've quietly enjoyed all your videos, subscribed and given thumbs up, but I wanted to reach out and tell you what an awesome job you do capturing Mexico. Please keep up the good work. I cannot wait to see your next adventure. Thank you.
I visited Atlixco today….FYI enchiladas Lolita has moved and changed its name. It is now called La Enchiladeria and it is located in the mercado. I can attest that the enchiladas are wonderful!! But their cecina is even better. Thank you for a great video of atlixco. It helped me enjoy my day there
Thank you Mike 😉 when I was there (last October) they told me there are two locations of Enchiladas Lolita. The one in the mercado and the one in the zocalo. I hope they didn’t close cause they were my favorite 🤤
I stumbled upon your videos and let me tell you. Your video(s) are amazing. Simple, straightforward and what I love is that you cover a lot without making the video super long. Saludos de Los Angeles CA. 🫶🏻
