I went to Hakone just a month ago with my friend, but we went only for one day. It was still an amazing trip and I want to come back again in the future. I definitely want to do the hike to Kintoki Mountain now! It was really fun seeing your reactions to Hakone and then recalling myself reacting in the same way. :D Thank you, Cathy and the Director, for such a wonderful video and I am looking forward to the next 2 episodes!

I am so happy i can watch your videos about japan since myself is much uncomfortable about traveling especially by a plane, it might just show us the awesome parts of japan but i really love it. I loved Hakone, even though our stay was slightly ruined by Air France losing our baggage en-route to Japan. The day we arrived, it was lovely and warm, however there was several centemetres of snow. We were at the 'countryside guest house' (Now the 'Guest house Edge') and the owner offered my wife a jacket until our bags caught up with us. Issues with baggage aside, we loved our short stay in Hakone.

I've already been there several years ago! 😊And of course I went into the hot springs, rode the cable car, and had a trip on that boat. Didn't get to go close to volcanoes or eat special eggs though. I need to go again!

Absolutely awesome! I loved every bit of this and am excited for the rest. The only thing I think that could be improved is if we had a rundown on each of the dishes shown. All of those foods looked SO good but I have no idea what some were. (The ones that represented the Gods.)
