16:50 Well, if you watch any of their older videos from 2011 to the start of 2013, for example the one direction Nickelodeon prank, you'd be amazed to see what you just said was quite the opposite at the time. Zayn used to be the prankster and partner in crime along with Louis and they shared such a really good bond. We can clearly see how both of them have matured a lot through the years.

Oh yeah I understand where you’re going regarding Harry and Zayn. I honestly just feel like Zayn pays attention to whoever is talking. It’s not about him respecting someone or anything, he just genuinely enjoys listening to what they have to say.

Zayn and Louis were partners in crime. They used to pull all the pranks together and go wild and have fun. They were really good with each other because Louis would bring Zayn out of his shell, and Zayn would bring out Louis' more quiet side, so they balanced each other out. You can see at the end of the second interview Louis helps to include Zayn into the circle, by bringing up Zayn's cellphone since Zayn was probably too shy to mention it himself, and that effectively brought him into the conversation which was nice to see. I love that Louis really took care of all of the boys and made sure they all felt comfortable enough to express themselves. He makes sure everyone is engaged which is what actually makes him the leader. As the oldest, and as someone with many younger siblings he plays that role very well.

What I love about this is that the opinion about harry being the leader changed to louis looking like the one that the boys actually look up to. Of course they all have massive respect for each other but I cannot stress enough how much of an important figure louis has been for the boys. It really depends from interview to interview but after being in the fandom I can definetely see why louis could be the leader and how much the boys adore him.

Harry has ALWAYS had an amazing amount of natural charm and charisma. He's magnetic. It's undeniable. But I'd argue that you got Harry wrong. I don't think Harry feels he needs to be the center of attention. There are many, many interviews where Harry says little or nothing. He just sits back and observes. I would call Harry an introverted extrovert, which is what I am. If Harry has something to say, he says it. He doesn't just speak just to get attention. His behavior on stage is something separate. That's his entertainer side.

13:15 back then (and even now) Harry was the most popular and most interviewers would look at him while asking questions, even if he doesn’t answer them. It’s like the attention was given to Harry even if he didn’t want it. Louis, on the other hand, grabs the attention because of his playfulness, even if he doesn’t answer the questions, he manages to divert the attention towards him by being himself. A lot of those questions are repetitive, the boys definitely appreciate a change of subject and some banter.

I think its interesting what you've said about Harry and Zayn being opposites personality wise. I find it interesting because i feel lt makes Louis relationship with these two so interesting , he had a really close bond with both of them and you would think that his personality would overshadow them but both Zayn and Harry have a way of bringing out a softer Louis. I actually feel like Louis is a social chameleon, and that he can literally make anyone feel like his best friend and this is what draws his fans to him. Louis has always been very protective of Harry and you can see it in the way he will often times deflect attention off of Harry in interviews. With Zayn ive always felt like he was the calm in the storm . Like the other boys are chaotic energy and Zayn was the balance and this is why I missed Zouis so much they really were partners in crime and they brought out the best characteristics in each other ,they balanced each other out. Even though I must admit that they were savage when they have a common enemy. I mean the twitter feud with the Wanted is epic and iconic. Louis relationship with Niall is that of an older brother who while taking the piss would absolutely destroy anyone who hurt him. But Lilo is my favorite friendship and its because their relationship is actually that of two brother and I love that they still support each other to this day Not to say that he other boys don't but Lilo will always save the day and cheer me up. But watching the dynamics change in interviews is both interesting and heartbreaking .I definitely look forward to seeing more.

And with zayn and live performances, he hasn’t really done a lot solo, because he struggles a lot with anxiety so he has only done a few a couple years ago

Harry looks like he carries the interviews bc the spotlight was given to him, even tho I agree he is the most charismatic, such a showman ✨ and Zayn really wanted to leave at that point, he wasn't that quiet at early onedi times :( also you must react to solo Zayn performance

Zayn is the "mom" of the group, likes to be in his own company and speaks when he have something to say, he's also a joker when he's really comfortable with the people around him, he likes to do pranks and things like that Louis is the joker, loves to have fun and make jokes of people, he's also kinda the "leader" of the group in some ways, he likes to direct the attention to people, when an interviewer asks a question then he likes to just "Liam what do you think about that?" And really wants everyone to have a great time. He gets serious when he needs to Niall is the humble, normal and unproblematic lad, he doesn't need go pretend to be someone he's not, he likes to be just himself and thinks that it's important to laugh and smile, he thinks you'll have more fun in that way and that's why he laughs at everything. He also doesn't need to speak all the time, he speaks when he needs to and he likes to be friends with everyone and he's not so shy when it comes to meeting new people. Liam is the "dad" of the group is serious when he needs to and keep an eye of the other boys so they don't do anything they should but at the same time can be playful and funny Harry is the personality that likes to entertain the crowd, he loves to be around the guys and he's a real flirt, he also likes to be himself, no need to pretend to be someone else and doesn't really need to talk fast for people to listen, he also speaks when he has something to say and sometimes he doesn't need to answer and have all the attention on him

I've been watching this guy and its really interesting to hear what he has to say...also we decided amongst ourselves that liam is the dad of the group and zayn is the mum of the group🤣 louis is the fun uncle and I won't be taking any arguments against that🤣

Zayn was actually the prankster along with Louis most of the times. He seems reserved during interviews because he doesn't like the spotlight and also has talked about anxiety issues but when they're doing stage shows, when they were shooting the movie, the BTS, the prank wars, basically when theyre just left in their element, he's extremely goofy. You should react to those stuff too.

I don't agree with niall not being confident and comfortable in early days. I feel like niall dint feel the need to speak unless asked or had something he really wanted to say. he's always been a quiet guy and just enjoying what's going on and really like living in the moment and just being very carefree. he's always been comfortable and confident but when he's solo now he's had to really show that side of his whereas he dint feel the need to earlier cause there were 4 other guys to lean on and he could chill.

Louis was always the leader in the group. What you see as mucking about was him being the sheepdog. He. Was always in control of the interviews even if it looked like mayhem. Remember he came from a mixed family. He was the first his Mum married 3 times and had children in each marriage and all these children are very close. Louis is the oldest and loves all his family. That takes skill not to be the one who's left out. So don't ever doubt Louis. Louis does doubt himself though sometimes now that's sad

I love this guy, his analysis are always spot on! He also reacted to another interview (video diaries), it's a totally different dynamic bc it's from 2011, you should totally react to it as well (if you want)! 1) I love what you said at the beginning. Their humble personalities is what makes them so likable. People from the outside pov always say that it's all about their looks, which, okay, it probably helped them gain fans at first, but nobody STAYED for their looks. We genuinely care about them. 2) you should definitely watch more interviews, they're really entertaining haha, especially the ones from when they were younger! 3) Tbh I've never felt like Harry and Zayn were complete opposites. From an outsider pov they really are different, but they're also similar in some ways. That's what's funny about all of them, they all have distinct personalities but are also quite similar. That's mostly due to how the media portrays them, but Harry also has a more reserved side to him, and Zayn isn't as mysterious as they made him be (he said himself in an interview post 1d that management forced that image of "the mysterious guy" on him, just like they kinda gave each boy a specific image. Sadly that's how it works. And when you watch interviews from like 2010-2012, Zayn is much more energetic. Also, he was definitely not an outsider, he got along with all the guys, especially Liam and Louis! (and he could be quite the troublemaker when he wanted to be too - Zayn and Louis said several times they were like partners in crime). You just can't really see it here bc he was struggling mentally, at this time especially, and also didn't really wanna be there. But they do all love each other. I really really loved that video and hearing what you had to say about them! I really hope you'll react to the movie on your patreon when you have time, it's so worth it!

Thing is you can watch 10 different interviews and get 10 different vibes from the lads depending on interviewer and era. They were given roles in the band and stuck to it for the most part. Harry was always the main man but wasn’t really leading the interviews at first. He learned how to do it along the way as they all did of course. There’s so many interviews. Some good, some crazy, some really bad and some very uncomfortable too as it’s obvious the lads were not on the same page so to speak.

Reason why i enjoyed their group dynamic during this time. So different personalities yet down to earth and keeps it real. I appreciated their friendship and respect to each other when they were still working together. Very easy to like. You may not like their music but people will like them when they do interviews or appearances. Also Zayn and Niall is so me.

Okay, why does every one direction/ solo videos like this, which I enjoy happen to end so fast!!

The thing about Zayn is, maybe not in public, but he does like being apart about the interaction. Especially with Louis. Him and Louis were partners in crime. They used to be the pranksters of the group, the troublemakers. They even bought a mystery machine together that they swore to never let any of the other boys into. A big reason he left the group was because of his anxiety and the public. He hasn’t done many concerts since he left the group and you won’t find many interviews or anything on him from 2016-2021 other than his albums and songs. The Harry thing, idk what happened with him and Harry and idk why he says now that he never talked to Harry whilst in the group because it looked like he used to find some sense of comfort in him before which makes it even sadder that they aren’t friends anymore in a obvious sense. Him and Niall are still friends and he said recently that he loves Niall’s music. Louis and him are on good terms but Louis said that he’s not mature enough to have a conversation about being friends yet with Zayn. Liam says he misses Zayn and stuff and that he loves him but they haven’t talked in a long time.

So i just want to comment on things u said about zayn! U are not 100% Right but at the same time not wrong if that make sense!! At this point (these interviews time) they were all done!! Not only zayn want to leave, harry and liam did. In fact harry was the first one to suggest a hiatus before zayn. Liam went in an interview and said "it would have killed me" on if he didnt leave. They were all so done but zayn was the brave one who did the first move!! (And because of the problems he had at the time like anxiety, ED and a lot of other things he was the one where u can notice that something was off) Also part of why zayn was quiet in most of the interviews was because Zayn's role in the band was to be the mysterious guy who don't talk much and all of that. And it really affected him in general and really damaged him in so many ways. he went out in an interview and said that that wasn't him!!! zayn and harry were really close friends in the band but after zayn left he said in an interview that him and harry never really talked and he didnt have any friends during the band which if u watch their videos diaries form x-factor, or any videos of them on stage u would notice how close they all were to each other. Another fact is that when their 5 years contracts ended in 2015 they were supposed to re-sign with syco for another 3 years. Instead, louis made a deal for him to sign for additional 5 years instead of 3 so the other boys can leave!!! Louis contract ended last year, he tweeted about it on the same day (jul, 11, 2020) but just a mobthes ago it was announced that he is kinda fully out of syco and their logo disappeared from his website!! With all the good things that band did for them. Syco made it mentally, physically and emotionally damaging for all the boys!!!
