Here is a demo of "One Jump Ahead," sung by Brad Kane and composer Alan Menken, from the 1992 film Aladdin. With music by Alan and lyrics by Tim Rice (who came onto the project after the death of Howard Ashman), this demo features some alternate lyrics that would be replaced for the final film. (However, an alternate set of vocals by Brad Kane were recorded for this demo with the final lyrics.)
Brad Kane would go on to provide the final singing vocals for Aladdin in the final film, with speaking duties going to Scott Weinger.
