I am Canadian - born and raised in a bilingual country. I am still struggling to learn French 70 years later. The fact that you speak English so well and can explain the technical work that you are doing in these videos is mind boggling. We enjoy watching your work and look forward to your weekly progress reports. Every now and then, when faced with a difficult job we will say "less do dis" with our best Illya accent. Well done you two. Your work ethic is inspiring!

All right, IIlia. I am a 67 year old woman but if I am ever tempted to use a jackhammer to remove plaster from a brick building I will remember that it's a bad idea.

Not forgetting french drains, roofs, and all the rest you have done in the last few years. Your forever home! Don't throw away those broken blades. With your angle grinder, cut new shanks on the broken part. The blade will be shorter, but it will still be usable. Thanks for the video. Jon

My heart goes out to your Ukrainian country folk experiencing homes and infrastructure bombed and lives lost. Nice work, Illia! There is no way to fix brick walls and lintels except to pull the old broken bits out and try to fit new parts in. The good part is, you are getting very experienced and have found your method to get it done correctly. Also nice not to be working out in the wet, windy weather.🥰

Was wandering the entire video where "Inspector" was. That's a lot of work done without the trained eyes of madam Inspector ;-)

Another job ticked off, well done. Around the 14:00 mark I noticed some light peeping trough a small hole from the outside along the floor beam in the middle. I suppose that one of the future jobs is to repoint the whole exterior of the house, so it will be addressed then.

I’m sure you will get a new blade if you contact the manufacturer. It is not supposed to break like that. Great work on the lintels!

One of two last lintels containing the holes may prior have been used somewhere vertical. Then pins in the holes where used to hang stuff off. Maybe nice to reuse it that way. 21:28

I feel your frustration with the blades breaking off. That happens to me right in the middle of an important cut. You should be very proud of your work. A lot of people would not even attempt doing that. Each time you work on your house/farm you gain more experience and it becomes easier. I wish my gift to you had arrived before you started on the lintel replacement, yet I am sure you can use them another time....🤔 So I hope you are feeling better Marina.
