Finally one of the four characters that the comic collection was essentially made for. It’s funny how originally they were going to do the IDW-2 version until they heard about the fan reaction to that design. I really hope that this figure did well so that has broken the encouraged to do more of literally who characters from the comics.

I heard that apparently idw straxus was planned to be the main villain of generations legacy as a head in a jar in the body of a frankensteins monster. But that was scrapped after no one wanted to animate the story of generations legacy.

I’ll bet a nickel that this figure had fewer accessories due to the additional parts count for his current accessories/remolding and the other accessories for the other figures in this set. “Robbing” Peter to pay Paul with the “robbing” part sounding more entitlement than I can think of.

6:00 amen brother! I always preferred his medieval Batman head over his cartoon one. The only thing I would change on this figure are the legs. Giving him square legs makes him more comics accurate.

For someone that isn't from the UK, you did a splendid job on retelling Straxus background and why he is THE threatenning Deception Leader when Megatron and co went out to get milk! I PR him eventhought I didn't want to paid full price (I always buy TF on discount) but getting him in hand, he was worth the full price! That being said, I do wished he had more budget to be finetune abit. Like panel covering for the fore hands, pin joint on the finger so his fingers can open and close like Tarn and Jhinaxus. Also with the blaster, I think they could of added a slider underneath it. If you life it foward, there would be a tab to make it blast compactible!

I am so pissed that I discarded the box Grimlock came in. The art on the boxes is fantastic, and I can use them to store my empty Jeeter containers.

Even though there are movie releases in September, it's not a good time to release movies. Given that, Transformers One did rank 2, 3, and 4 in the Box Office during it's run, meaning it did do very well against it's slim competition. In my humble opinion, it should have released in May with a September DVD/Blue-Ray Release, if they really wanted to make money, as well as cash in on the 40th Anniversary Nostalgia. But at least it made more than Borderlands did!

I've wanted a Leader G1 Straxus since both the original comics and the Generations Deluxe figure tapped into the design calling him Darkmount. A great retool of the Galvatron mode, though it pains me he's only a Pulse exclusive as of now. Mainline release when Hasbro? As for accessories, a Core class Scrounge, with an arm he can tear off before tossing him in the smelting pit.

Quick better buy reissues of all your favorites. If you don't that means they are truly dead.')

though I also wish he had come with more, I think this is about the best we could've gotten in the matter of resculpt / accessory count balance.
