When it comes to the phone I feel your pain 😠. unwinding after a bad week I go in my tool shed with a big mug of coffee and close the door to shut the world out and sharpen something/anything. We all need a good old fashion rant now and then, i enjoy your videos. But always good to throw something new in the mix now and then. Great video, loved this, but then again I've loved them all. I've just got my tree surgeon tickets but can't find any work at all. Your channel has convinced me to go it alone and work on the Garden Maintenance and build it up from there. Thank you for giving me so much hope my friend. Stay safe! Peace.
Every gardener has one of those weeks. I think having a rant and a moan is good. As for the no offer of a cuppa on a job is terrible. It's not very often that someone doesn't make or offer you a brew. Always carry a flask. 👍
Great video, as always agree with it all keep up with the rants and how you do things in videos plenty of actual gardening videos about, personally when doing maintenance work through spring,summer autumn I do by hourly rate I know where I am then only do quoted work in winter weekends for planting projects etc and thanks for he tip on the speeding I wasn't aware of that I must have been lucky so far.

Chin up mate yeah things have been pretty slow here too. You can add slow paying of invoices to the mix, waiting to be paid. Plus the other week i stood on a nail at some garden clearance, that really hurt like a fucker. Guess i should've had the right PPE on but i wish the damn builders could throw their crap in one pile and not absolutely everywhere. Oh shit happens we live and we learn, saving for a decent pair of safety boots but still haven't been paid! I'm liking all your videos topics man nice variation, it's very real world. Talking about projects, maintenance, tools, financial side, customer service, tricks and tips and even the rants, because like we all know it's not always wonderful and you have to take the rough with the smooth! :D
Great vid as ever. We all have them mate. Also got the speeding one years ago before I knew about it too. Clients who are in all day and who don’t offer a drink are the worst. Fortunately they are very much in the minority for me and they usually go to the bottom of the list! Hope next weeks better!

Great video mate and love the mix of action/ranting/detailed videos. You are allowed 70 on the motorway and a transit connect has the same rules as you. The term you wanted was 'car-derived' and this only includes Fiestaa, Corsas etc. Being in the West Country too, I find a good Cider always helps!

I know (some) west country people r a bit slow boy - bit like em up ere in Norfolk. Maybe reappraise your message? keep it short & to the point. Liking your vids. I am a self employed gardener for the last 3 years up around Breckland in Norfolk & find a lot of relevance with your videos. Like your bit of dry humour thrown in too. Cider is good. Whereabouts are you in the west boy ? Have you been to Roger Wilkins cider farm near Cheddar?Bloody marvellous it is too. Maybe touch on a few more points about identifying & when to prune certain shrubs & roses,lawn care,mole trapping,gnome revival😂 Keep happy. At the end of the day we've got our own business,working hard,making enough to earn a good living in the glorious British countryside. Rain is good for us.Makes everyting grow quicker maan. Man I feel your pain I was once self employed so I know what your talking about and a combination of crap weather and customers ranting when you need to put them back a day then there’s always the worry of will I find winter work it’s really stressful. I hope this year has been better for you. I commented on another video of yours that I’m self taught and I know the basics I ran my own business for 2 years with 120 regular customers and I’m sorry I gave it up to do something completely different. Now I’m back in gardening and working for someone else and it’s hard answering to someone again. Any advice on how to build enough of a gardening round up from scratch to be able to quit my job?
