I agree, but sadly, it will not take long before you no longer see a difference in the results. People have been underestimating AI, despite the leaps it has taken within a year or even just months. We went from "dreaming AI" creating nonsensical pictures, to AIs that create impressive results based on a text prompt. So now, they will just throw another billion examples at it to color and draw lines correctly. I don't like it one bit and I think all these AIs (not just art) should be stopped. But that's how it currently is.
Shitty art is always gonna represent the beginning, the raw passion that we all felt when starting as an artist. Doodles, crappy low quality scribbles are all attempts at making something. Attempt at doing something with your heart.
Nah. As soon as AI art outperforms humans, their art will be used for efficency and cost. Atleast regarding creative collaboration. There will always be human artists, but their use in projects will be far diminished over time. You can cry, but you won't stop the inevitable advance of technology.
lol what a humble dude, he is using a program that WASN'T made by him, that is gerenating images based on actual artwork that WEREN'T drawn by him, and calling the final result HIS. He is so humble that he says to a one piece animator that he can't draw luffy properly.
lol what? Jose also didn't make the programs he used and he certainly didn't make One Piece so he was just copying when not outright tracing Oda's work for most of it. Yet he still claims credit for the final result.
@@LuciusCdude do you have any idea how animation works? Takes like 100s or 1000s of frames to get solid movement on a single panrl from the manga wtf are you talking about?
Here’s a tip if you’re an artist: use nightshade or glaze to protect your works from ai I do know there’s other ones but those are just the ones I know
it's like that girl who told a guy on Twitter to shut up cause she works at NASA... except he also did and was higher up than her, so she no longer was working at NASA after that lol
And if y'all are interested in the outcome of this, the AI 'artist' has now put his twitter on private. So yeah, he got annihilated so hard he just straight up privated his account
What's better is the guy who mocked the animator got a meltdown in the thread lmao. edit: He also privated his account lmao, the animator deleted the tweet anyway but it's his decission.
My problem with the ai prompters is that they can't just be humble. What you do is assist a algorithm Generating an image from stolen data cope all over it but if all you do is roll the dice on the ai algorithm and just put suggestions. you really don't have any art related skill, what you are really skilled or knowledgeable at is ai there could be a lot done with ai, But that's what's its gonna be A shortcut made to get things done fast even if that cost quality then still you are gonna have a harder time the more complex or unique your ideas are but these tech bros don't look like the people with creative vision do they, they look more like they really hate where they are and are using ai art to feel better about themselves Its funny how they say that "ai democratised art" and want to claim Extraordinary talent at the same time note that these are likely the people who think artist are only artist because of in born talent, which I don't really think i need to explain because it simply is false
Yeah, people need to stop calling these images AI "art". Just call them AI generared images. Don't put those amalgamations of stolen content in the same page as real pieces made by REAL artists.
@@dbt4869there is fundamentally different things that set real art apart from AI. AI images are soulless and have no personality. Exist because it is forced to. But real art? They exist because they deserved to exist.
@@dbt4869Real art requires human effort. Entering a prompt into GPT and watching it churn out an image for you is not effort. AI-generated images are not art. They are soulless amalgamations of actual pieces of art made by actual humans with actual effort put into them.
I have no problem with AI because it can't be stopped but at least AI prompters should not brag about it Because manga artist literary write sheets about their character
What most people don’t bring up is that they switched to Spanish and José was still cooking him ending it with something along the lines of “type your prompts as fast as you can you will never be a real artist” like josé flat out murdered him in two languages
As someone who uses AI art, I can say it's disgraceful to shame those who actually put the effort into forging their skills in art. I use AI art solely because I wish to put my creativity into a canvas without actually doing the work (which is shameful might I add) but to blatantly flaunt art generated by AI claiming you are better than actual artists? I don't know what that man is on to have the audacity to do such a thing in the first place.
its hubris, plain and simple, People who think that because they managed to make a good prompt that they are now on the same level as an artist who took years to polish their craft, people like us that use AI just as a little toy are aware of its true value as art (that being, little to none) but there are people out there that truly think of themselves as geniouses for having prompting skills and its all hubris.
Personally. I really don’t like how AI is being used to takeover actual art. But I feel like I can respect it when it’s treated as a guide or tool. Nothing more. I’ve always wanted to create a comic. But I have more strengths in creating and drawing characters, than I do with drawing the actual world they come from. I’ve always thought that maybe AI can be used to generate something from your own desire. After all, some of us maybe have our own creative limits that work in different ways. But then that’s it. You can look at what you generated. You can be inspired. You can be in awe. But you still have to acknowledge the original creators of those images, and you must respect that. It’s up to YOU to do your own art. To deviate from what you generated, and create something different, wonderful and original from your inspiration. Don’t rely on AI to completely overrule your work. The moment you begin to use AI as a crutch. Make it your entire personality, or treat it with a ‘If I don’t have it or can’t master it, I have nothing’ mentality. Then thats where your problem lies.
I'm a artist who still is practicing, and being in the art community and understanding that art isnt as simple as it is, there are millions of ways that ai can be used, but art is not one of them. art is expression, and even those who do art to earn fame mainly (which i highly doubt is the case) atleast puts the slightest bit of effort into a drawing, unlike ai "artists" who type up a prompt, make 1 or two edits, and either brag about how they created this piece and "oh im so good" , or falsely claim that their art is real. i hate the use of ai in improper manners.
I prefer art drawn by toddlers than these AI "artist", why? Because at least toddlers put their mind, heart, and effort into their drawing than these lazy and shameless self-proclaiming "artists" who can't even draw and just steal other people's works. AI generated images will NEVER be art, because art is a form of media to let you express your own expressions (not by AI) through music, art, movie, drama, etc. As for those who still think that AI generated images are art, please just GO BACK to elementary school to learn what art is.
@@decas5505 well they were actually drawing their nfts, aside, ofcourse, from those who stole other's artwork, but those people never called themselves "artists"
as an artist, jose is a role model for me. ive been so scared of AI recently, and this guy just comes in and destroys it. i dont even like anime or watch one piece in any form but i love you jose
Oscar: The only reason you got any fame was because you roasted me for using AI art just by saying you worked on an anime. Jose: In my defense you 100% deserved it. Oscar: Touche.
It’s crazy how people have the audacity to type a sentence into a robot and compare themselves to people who actually put hard work and effort into making something truly unique.
The fact ai can make art is cool, but these ai prompters are completely ruining the technology. Im glad theyre being put in their place by people with skill
honestly id be less annoyed at these ppl if they just admitted they are prompters and not artists, and that their images are just images and not works of art.
I am not even a artist(I just draw a bit sometimes) but I know the harm AI is causing to artists. AI "art" will never be real art because it has no soul, no meaning, no originallity. AI paintings, digital drawings, animations and songs are just ilusions that imitate the true art.
Oh, you didn't even mention the best part: After the post by the animator, the AI bro kept going but switched languages hoping that the animator didn't also speak it but lo and behold, he did and just continued dunking on the guy in Spanish.
Calling yourself and artist cause you make stuff with ai is like calling yourself a cook cause you make stuff in tne microwave. You're not making stuff, the machine is doing it.
Fun fact, that guy made a 2023 halloween special pokemon animation of all the ghost pokemons, i already know jòse is a great animator and is responsible for their masterpieces!!
@@gdmewmewgod6653 Why do you think artists are talking about it? They know there's going to be a time where people would replace artists with ai, so they talk about it and its risks. There's already a contract with large entertainment companies to not use AI for scripts in shows and movies, hopefully there's would be a contract that protects the livelihood of artists too.
I sometimes think im the only sane person who likes ai art generators. I use them because I stuck at drawing, and they are cool to mess with. But I like art made by people better. Ai art I think can be used as a tool to help artist.
Only thing i like about ai art is that you can make buzz lightyear rethinking his life choices as his room is covered in crap, or luffy robbing a bank, its only okay if its not serious
Just started one piece, this is in my recommended page. What a way to start off, lol. He got what he deserved, no AI art can beat passionate artist arts. It's all about creativity and time. But damn, didn't expect one of animators of one piece destroyed that man.
A lot of these people treat it as though they personally made these images, instead it’s more like they found it. Just a lil picture made by our kinds machines, like a digital drawing to put on your fridge. That’s how I see ai art at least
The only thing i would use ai for is create goofy images i can laught at, that why i loved site like dall-e making this absolutly bonkers images with crazy prompts, using it to pass of as an actual artist rubs me the wrong way and i'm not even an artist
Calling yourself an artist when using AI is the stupidest thing ever. For example, if I commissioned a real artist to make me something and I gave them specific details on how I want it made, I still didn't make it lol. they are essentially commissioning a computer and taking credit for it lmfao, and the computer is STEALING work. so all there is to these AI people are stolen commissions, they will never ever be a real artist.
No matter what you do in life, you should always have some basic social skills. Humility in your own skills and accomplishments, and an acknowledgement of where you came from and who and what helped you get there. This person has neither of those things. I don't wish him anything bad, but for his own good, I hope he crashes hard for this kind of behaviour and learns to actually be a decent person.
