Most won’t get into it because of its length. Too bad for them that they are missing this masterpiece. I’ve tried to get friends into it and they quit after a couple arcs. They won’t give it a shot.
My favorite pick for who is arriving at the island is gonna be New MADS. The last we saw of that Coverstory was Caesar and Judge realizing Vegapunk is the one they are mad at and teaming up again, so them showing up for the big MADS reunion with them, Vegapunk, new Stussy (and maybe they picked up Queen when passing by Wano) would be pretty glorious.
Everyone thinks about the revolutionaries, the blackbeard pirates, the red haired pirates, the cross guild, or the grand fleet would show up but I didn't think about the Caesar and Judge alliance showing up.
@@JuicemanGravy ever since I thought about it I'm kind of loving it, it just has so much potential. MADS as a group is already interesting by itself to meet again, but there's also stuff like Sanji meeting Judge again after destroying the Raid Suit, the comic book hero Sora had a big robot so we could maybe finally learn more about what is up with that (and why Sanji's mother has the same name), Caesar and Caribou could actually be a hilarious duo of former villains that have no choice but to help out the Strahwats. Then they also were involved in cloning Stussy, so we could still learn more about what's up with her, the original and Weevil. I just feel they would fit into the arc really well.
@@haywoodlunsford4238 Boa could show up too. Last time we saw her it seemed like she was serious about hunting Luffy down and marrying him. Also, Stussy likely has many friends in the underworld that might want to save her. That could be our intro to Dufeld or one of the other Underworld Emperors. Dufeld also might wanna save Vegapunk so that he'll be indebted to Dufeld and provide him with valuable technology. Dufeld has to be relevant eventually, right? I mean, he funded the original MADS, and now it seems the band is getting back together.
During Dressrosa arc there was a foreshadowing -"AFTER THIS MOMENT THEY WILL EACH GROW IN POWER UNTIL THEY EVENTUALLY CAUSE A GREAT INCIDENT OF HISTORIC PROPORTIONS BUT FOR THE MOMENT THAT IS A STORY NO ONE YET KNOWS ABOUT". So I think It might be the grand fleet.
This is Luffy's fleet with the last 3 strawhats : - Carrot who shows up a second time like Neko and Inu did in their time with (Whitebear's and Roger's crew by following Oden) - Kinemon, Luffy invited him before leaving Wano - Smoker disappointed by the navy, will do like Aokiji to accomplish his own justice by joining Luffy's crew

I interpreted Saturn's line about not needing any more scientific progress to mean "We've got the weapons we wanted out of it, everything else is unnecessary." They don't care that it makes the life of the common people better the same way humans don't care about ants when we build out cities.
Nah the goroesi are planning to great reset the world remember they said the world is need of a great cleansing they plan to destroy everyone and anything so technology will go back to square 1. The fact vegapunk said technology was a lot more advanced 800 years ago proves this and i think the last great reset by the goroesi was then
I've just thought of it like "you know we've been alive 800 years right? So if I have to destroy you and the next few generations until we find the secret to that technology then I will gladly do it." Kind of a way of just being a jerk about being immortal without actually saying he can live until an outcome he likes happens.

Also Dragon called out Vegapunk greed when he told him he will work with the government. People forget Vegapunk was part of MADS and most of its members are selfish and horrible people who non ethical thing for research purposes.
I wonder if it’s the grand fleet showing up. Morgan’s put out the story Luffy had kidnapped/hostaged Vegapunk so I wonder if the fleet saw the paper and went to investigate, but I don’t think they could all get to egghead that quick. I also forget if the newspaper Story is supposed to be published before or after the siege with Saturn. But Dressrosa was in the new world so unless they specifically left they should all be in the new world with the piece of the card directing them to Luffy. And all the sea beasts were destroyed by the marines so they could just roll up in a flank to clear a path for Luffys escape.

As all of this chaos is beginning to unfold on Egghead, all I can think about is; what is going to become of the ancient robot that has been sitting dormant in the junkyard. Whitebeard was already almost dead at that point. Him losing part of his brain still didn't killed him, but his power is like 40 to 50% at that point. Akainu could tanked it even though he still got hurt.
I definitely think Kuma's chances of surviving this arc are minimal. However, as a concept, Vegapunk and Franky working together to rebuild/restore him would be pretty cool. A great way to show Franky's skills as an engineer rivaling Vegapunk's. (Watch Kuma get an upgrade that allows him to be powered by the greatest fuel of all... LOVE AND COLA!!!!

Heard a really good point: The marine flag at the end of the chapter was black. My thoughts IF that turns out to be important, Revolutionaries (repurposed marine vessels) Blackbeard (Garps ship) Sword (special flag for that division) Man marked by flames (Shiryu said he thought it would be a marine, and the ship is stated to be black) If it isn’t important, I think it’s the grand fleet honestly
Vegapunk feels absolutely stunlocked by this situation. The world is falling apart around him and he just can’t comprehend why all this pain must be caused because of knowledge. He’s read all the books but when finally faced with the true villainy of the WG he can’t seem to muster the strength to fight. I’m really excited to see where his character goes
He's directly responsible for a big part of this. He modified Kuma, created the Pazifists and Seraphim and gave full control to the Gorosei ... At some part it's not being naive, but straight up stupid.
Blackbeard Pirates are on the island and I think they are gearing up to kidnap York or another satelite of Vegapunk to awaken Pudding's third eye. Edit: I just realized, Atlas is wearing the rocket boots and could just avoid the lasers and is wearing the light gauntlets, so she could grab and manipulate the lasers.
I have a feeling Devon replaced Robin while Chopper and Atlas weren't looking. seems too convenient for Oda to offscreen her getting injured. Devon gets to act injured and not say anything so she can keep the act up too
@@matthewkaiser2977 I don't think Robin is getting captured by the blackbeard pirates just due to the fact that they already have Pudding, so getting Robin would make getting Pudding completely meaningless. Also, I don't think Oda is doing another Robin rescue arc. Not impossible, just not likely to me.

He already has Garp which gives Luffy and Blackbeard a reason to fight on top of Blackbeard handing Ace over to the government. If Blackbeard kidnapped Robin, Blackbeard is 100% going to be expecting to fight Luffy very soon because he knows how far Luffy is willing to go for his crew due to Enie's lobby and How far Luffy went for Ace. That move just doesn't seem like the smart move for Blackbeard to make by pissing off yet another massive powerhouse of a crew with his goals. He's got Big Mom who will want to reclaim pudding, he's got Shanks who has no good will for Blackbeard, he has the world government because he has Garp captured, he has sword to deal with as well, and the revolutionary army to top it off. Blackbeard isn't looking to add another Yonko to that list, but I could be wrong.
Wild theory. The Mk 3s won't fire. They're certainly powering up their lasers, but will power down in the last minite. Just as S-Snake went against her programming/orders for Luffy, so too will the Mk 3's for Bonney. However (and this is where the wild part comes in), not because Bonney's bond with their template, but rather her resemblance of her mother! They may not even power down all the way, but glitch (Robo Cop Style) just long enough for everyone airborne to get away.

I like to think that the Warship was destroyed by Blackbeards Crew…specifically by Kuzan. On Ohara he watched as a Civilian Ship was destroyed by the WG and now he had a chance to prevent that same type of tragedy.
I feel like Kuzan is currently keeping Garp under guard (being it for real or to check on BB's men), my guess is the civilians' ship managed to escape but the Marines by chance crossed the path of Lafitte/Devon who were already near the island

Part of me liked Saturn telling Vegapunk that he should have kept his greed in check because it referenced Vegapunk's own thirst for knowledge and advancement, as well as York. Technically, if you include movies, this is Robin's fourth Buster Call. I've seen some people say that "they" might refer to the Straw Hat Fleet. Because they're so close, I'm thinking specifically it'd be the Elbaf giants that joined. I can see Akainu being immune to volcano damage.
I really get Kizaru and his hesitation is soooo good. All his life he seemed to rise in the ranks by following orders and not questioning his higher ups loudly, so a switch after "just" a single indicent wouldnt fit. He has to leave his whole believe system behind if he wants to help Vegapunk and thats the single most frightening thing for every human being. Still, im sure he will do something, even if its just a tiny little bit of help. BUT IF HE SNAPS... this will we just satisfying!

What if Karasu keeps the revolutionary ships coated in soot so he can sprout wings from the hulls and make them fly when they need to escape or get somewhere quickly. We saw sabo make use of his ability at great distance to get on and off dressrosa quickly. Maybe this explains why dragon's ship is black and is how it's so impossible for them to be caught. Karasu hangs out in some type of air traffic control room and moves everyone around when he's not directly needed to be there.

What if the individuals heading to Egghead are Judge and Caesar with the newly formed NEO MADS? The reason they were fighting in the cover story was because of Vegapunk, so I don't think it would be too farfetched for them to be headed to Egghead to bring ruin to him.
But would they know about Vegapunk being targeted at all? They would not know of the Buster Call as it just happened, and it depends on what the article said about the Strawhats in chapter 1089. They might know that the Strawhats are at Egghead and under siege, but they probably won't know about Vegapunk being targeted by the government. @@windwaker01

One of the most interesting things in the current events of One Piece - You can almost physically feel as all the remaining factors (all the emperors, the government, Cross Guild, Revos, etc) are slowly converging.
Why is it so hard to understand that Kizaru doesn’t like what he’s doing but will carry out the mission regardless? I feel like for weeks people have tried to head-canon all kinds of ways and reasons for him to defect or have a change of heart when it’s just not going to happen

I'm thinking Egghead will be split up among the Emperors. Cross Guild will get some, Black Beard will get some, Some will leave with Luffy and Shanks will get involved somehow. I'm thinking even the Revolution will get involves. Technology was the main one edge the World Government had. With all these assets being spread around it could be the first domino that leads to their collapse.

I feel like we might see the Pacifista turn on the WG. I keep coming back to what Lilith said at the begining of the arc, that you cannot overwrite primal desires. @@mattia_carciola Well if Vegapunk programmed them using Kuma's programing as a type of template, it could work. The shark wasn't a cyborg shark. It was a robotic shark programmed as a shark or something like that. Considering how big of a perfectionist Vegapunk is, he could've with that method.
Definitely gonna disagree with and correct you on your interpretation of Saturn's reaction to Vegapunk's "scientific advancement" comment. It's not that he thinks it refers to more dangerous weapons, he knows it's just quality of life improvements for mankind. He just doesn't see a need for it, which is why he says "We have no need of it." Meaning, the World Government, the Elders + Im, the structural hierarchy that runs the world. That's the only important party to benefit from advancement, and since they're already on top, they don't need any more. This is why Vegapunk responds with, "WHAT ABOUT MANKIND???" To him, it's all about benefitting everyone, not just a select few. The loss of this technology will mean undo burdens and difficulties and avoidable tragedies for countless people. If he could cure cancer, and the buster call destroys that research and equipment, then it means people will continue to lose loved ones to cancer. But the Elders + Im don't have to worry about that, so Saturn doesn't care. It's an ideological difference, not a misunderstanding.
My first thought was the blackbeard pirates being the one that destroyed the marine ships but I think it might be either the revolutionary army or the strawhat grand fleet I'm leaning more on the revolutionary army tho. The strawhat grand fleet most likely won't show up until the final battle .
8:50 I understand kizaru he’s like a Stockholm syndrome victim to the world government, he doesn’t want to do what st Saturn tells him but he feels like he has to because he knows he’s powerless against all the gorosei and emu ( this is head cannon but it’s the best way to explain his actions narratively in my opinion)

@@windwaker01 Yes, but we also know that the revolutionaries can easily travel across the world relatively quickly (For sure with Karasu’s Susu Susu no mi ability, and possibly with Dragon if he can actually manipulate the weather). I don’t think it would be that hard for them to reach Egghead in the day or so since Kuma left.
When all marines/witnesses have soon left Egghead, only Saturn and Kizaru will remain. Now Kizaru could potentially turn on Saturn, without anyone from the WG knowing. Kizaru's decision to wait could prove to be advantageous for him.
What if the reason they are so against everyone even knowing about the void century is that the knowledge on how to beat the gorusai (or however you spell it) and Imu is like a big chunk of it, why else would they be so thoroughly against anyone even knowing about it

Or the Strawhat grand fleet and in particular the New giant warrior pirates, they already appeared in the egghead arc and they know the way to Elbaf. Or maybe it's both and they team up on this occasion.
