Not really. A generation is a lot shorter than a lifespan. Humans live for around 80 years but each generation is 20-30 years apart. If I had to guess a generation for giants (who live around 300 years) is probably around 100 years, so Dorry and Brogy’s grandparents probably would’ve been born around 360 years ago.

Too be fair his lasers tend travel at the speed of light so to block it he would have to move at light speed on top of that light is intangible it should not be allowed to be blocked at all so I feel this shock actually makes sense.

It's because sanji is regarded as yc3, who is below zoro and jinbe so by kizzys standards he thinks he can beat sanji easily but when he blocked a laser he was shook but obvy someone like Luffy, a yonko can eat his laser he expected that but he didn't expect nothin from a number 4 in the crew

I was thinking of the Blackbeard/Xebec connection quite differently. Oda directly tried to tell us that Luffy IS a complete opposite of Teach, so I thought it'd go something like that: Luffy - Inherited Will of someone he's NOT blood-related to Blackbeard - Doesn't inherit the will of someone's he IS blood-related to So maybe Blackbeard doesn't actually want to be "king of the world" like his father/grandpa w/e, but maybe he actually wants the entire world to go to shit, depravity, corruption. It'd kinda align with his idea of creating a "Pirate Paradise", so basically a world without rules, without a king, where everyone does whatever they want, good or evil.

I like how before, we all thought what the Blackbeard pirates ( Mainly Devon ) might do when they get to Egghead Island. There are so many insane possibility like Devon shapeshifting one of the crews, then we get to this chapter and all they did was Devon just touching Saturn and that's it. No elaborate scheme, not full on attack on the island. Just Devon walking to Saturn and touching him. That's it.

You know, everyone saying Caribou being BB's Barto, but think about it for a sec. Caribou was about to be left in a world government island, then he learns he's about to be killed in a Buster Call, and he knows the Straw Hats aren't really going to help him unless he helps them (which he could but probably wouldn't want to). Then he finds Catarina and Auger and realizes that he can get off the island, sells the info he's obtained from being dragged around by the Straw Hats, and joined an Emperor's crew to keep himself safe. So him saying he's a fan and all might just be him trying to keep himself safe

I don’t think people give Sanji enough credit for his haki mastery. Being able to deflect one of Kizaru’s lasers may have been partly due to his genetics and haki combined, but him learning that level of observation and armament essentially by himself in two years is impressive nonetheless.

The way the Blackbeard pirates treat Devil Fruits, with that unrestrained greed/gluttony is so evil! In the latest anime episode BB looked at Law's ability like he was watching a presentation on a product and Devon straight up calling the fruit's power delicious. It's awesome.

For a crew that's been newly formed and hasn't been together for that long, the Black Beard Pirates are insanely efficient and good at what they do. Van Auger/Ogre and Doc Q have always been my favorite OG Black Beard Pirates. Even before Van Auger had his fruit he was always cool bc of his insane sniping skills. And Doc Q is literally Death/Pestilence like one of the 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse. It's good to see them get some spotlight these last few chapters. Van Auger telling a gorosei to his face that their crew is after world domination then teleporting out is just so sick and bad ass.

I really like devon and augers conversation with saturn. It really implies that blackbeard bloodline belongs to either a special race or is related to someone powerful in history(Rocks most likely). But personally I think it confirms Teechs connections with rocks and following his footsteps.

I think the sanji vs kizaru fight had been somehow foreshadowed ever since the pre-timeskip saboady arc, where sanji tried all he could to kick kizaru to save the always useless and always lost marimo... plus, the so-called power of love in one piece had been proven very powerful and could challenge anything.and the best example is garp's super duper heroic fist of love...

I think it's possible that when Teach ran into the seraphim on Amazon Lily, he decided he wanted them (either for their DF powers or just to get more strong fighters). And then sent Devon to copy someone who could control them, and it was just a lucky coincidence that one of the Gorosei happened to be on the island

Oda was cooking once again Man seeing Luffy beat Saturns face in was so satisfying, Saturn is a punching bag right now After the last 3 chapters or so Kizaru helping the Strawhats can be put to bed lol and that panel with Sanji lighting his cigarette while blocking Kizarus attack was dope Man Blackbeard out here playing 4D chess and Caribou is the biggest wildcard right now This chapter basically confirming what we already knew Luffy is a tier or two above everyone else in his crew

I don't think bonney has that much info about Nika. Also the way i understood her powers, i don't think she can mimick Luffy anymore since she now knows for sure that nika exists and it's luffy, i think it was working back then cause she believed nika in existence but in her POV, it can be anyone ( including herserlf ), so it's in the realm of what's possible for her to become, but now that she have the confirmation i don't think she can do it anymore. I might be wrong tho

I'm now 99% sure now that BB is Rocks kid and he's inherited his dream to take over the world, but even if he's not his kid gotta be somekind of clone or something along those lines but is definetly in someway related to him. Edit: and another theory i've held for awhile but i thought might have been abit to dark for OP was that Rocks wasn't only part of the D Clan but also a CD like having a CD taken a D clan member as a "Wife" and that was how Rocks was born, but thought that might have been a tad to explicitly rapey for OP but after Ginny Odas obviously willing to go there.

BB plan was to steal the the chip that controls the seraphim by touching vegapunk, but found🪐 as a better option so they could use 🪐 appearance to do bad things, kinda like how bon clay did using vivi dad during alabasta. Caribou is also gonna join with information about the ancient weapons. This chapter also hints BB is a buccaneer who might have been experimented on as kid, which made him possible to have multiple df abilities since 🪐 knows BB origins.

We already know that the celestial dragons do a game where they decide which race should go instinct. I just think King got Lucky because he had Kaido and Kuma got Lucky because of the information that Ginny leaked. And the giants are in Shanks territory so we know how Shanks feels about protecting the people in his alliance.

The whole "we need to stop the Sunny somehow" tangent feels a bit unnecessary. What happened to Chicken Voyage? Nami could just create a giant cloud to act like a pillow. Chopper could go Guard Point. Hell, even Usopp could use one of his many varieties of plants to make it stop. Pretty much everyone available could individually stop the Sunny without needing a plan from Lilith.

@@eliaspanayi3465 oh man, I legitimately forgot even LUFFY had the brains to stop the inertia from a ship without needing a plan from someone else lmao (Though I can excuse them not using Gaon Cannon since it’s pretty heavy on the cola usage and they should save it for the escape, also the ship seems to automatically release a small Coup de Burst to counter the Gaon Cannon and prevent the ship from going backwards, so that would be useless)
