@@iothemighty you mean between arcs? Wano has been going for years with barely any breaks and it went straight into Egghead with one or two breaks until now I think and Egghead had not been running for a year, I think.
I doubt if they will do more than 3 seasons, also if it's going to be seasonal, we will reach Wano arc in 2077. Pointless remake honestly, it's only good for newbies to get into one piece
Watch an entire episode of 20 mins, with only 5 mins of content worth the watch, watch the next episode, repeat the same thing that happened in the previous episode and get 5 mins worth of content more. It is what it is.. -one piece fan
@@Fire.Fist21 again, it's more worth it to read the manga than to watch the anime. It might be little, but at least you don't waste your time with recaps.
@@Minosprime69420 i know but you can just skip the recaps and watch in 2x speed. Also idk why but my browser is slow and cant really load manga pages online. So do u have any apps? Mang plus by shueisha is not in my play store
That was 1 episode. Not the whole anime. The video is just exaggerating the reality and instances when the pacing has issues. Let's not ignore all the peak moments that the anime offered, that not even seasonal anime can touch that level of quality.
@@darklonewolf4519 Oh no trust me, I know. I watch & read it weekly, it's my favorite series of all time. The skit was just making fun of that 1 episode, and I agreed that it was an odd episode, especially after how hype the previous episode was.
If we presume the WIT studio remake will cut out the poor pacing of the one piece anime, we can calculate how long it will take them to catch up to the anime as of present. Current one piece has about 1115 episodes, covering 1180 chapters of manga. Up to the ennies lobby arc one piece episodes usually were around 2 chapters long (ep. 1-264) After that point and until the time skip they usually were about one chapter in length (ep. 265-516) And from then on they tended to cover 10-15 pages of a chapter, roughly half a chapter (ep. 517-1115) If we remove the filler episodes from the count it goes from 1115 to 1017. So presuming the new adaptation will use more chapters per-episode, to be more in line with what Shōnen like one piece usually do, they should adapt 3-4 chapters per episode. Presuming they go with a seasonal model, with each season consisting of 25 episodes and have one season every 2 years. Then the wit re-adaptation should take 22 years presuming 4 chapters per episode spread over 10 seasonal releases. Or 3 years less than what it took the current one piece anime to reach where it is now. If we presume horrible working conditions on the other hand (1 seasonal release per year) it’ll be around 11 years. Or 14 years faster than toei.
I don't have much hope for the remake they either rush it or like you say take 22 years wich is straight up an insult. I think one piece will forever be better on the manga. And there is no way it gets enough money to run for so long when everyone would already know the end of the story
@@Rianmt795 idk how 22 years is an insult. But I think it could definitely make enough money to keep afloat, most one piece fans would probably watch it, atleast for a little bit, and any new one piece fans would most likely dive into the newer one first before trying the toei one.
@@darkmatter9643 i don't think any new fan will watch it knowing that the manga and the original anime ended and the remake still has over 2 decades to finish. They're just trying to milk the series. Instead of remaking they should just improve the animation slightly and get rid of the filler and bad pacing like one pace but professional that way it can be done in a couple of years
I swear, every episode in that arc was face panning, the crew running in reused animation, and the last 20 seconds were a decently animated fight scene with bright colors to make it look better than it actually was just for it to go to the “TO BE CONTINUED”. And then a recap episode every 3 weeks.
As a person who is currently on Enies Lobby (episode 276) I can agree, but sometimes it feels worth it for me (EDIT) I know some people may not like it when they see this type of stuff but I DID NOT EXPECT THIS TO BLOW UP SO MUCH BRO..ty yall so much
Sadly for you my friend, it's about to get a whole lot worse, and as someone who has covered many more arcs, Enies Lobby was still the peak enjoyment. I recommend you watch One Pace from the get go. I can only back the quality of it from Dressrosa (which is where you very importantly need it), or maybe someone who has watched could vouch for it.
Sooo accurate 😂. Worst thing is people try and defend it and say it's not true. EDIT. Dang people really coping hard in the comments and proving my point. Why cant you all just be a one piece fan and agree it has problems? The show is amazing but tryna defend dressrosa and wanos plenty of pointless epsidoes is dumb.
Not in the manga lol (Spoilers) Zoro stalled Lucci for the longest time while an Admiral and the five Gorosei are running amok the island and Vegapunk dragged on a message forever just to say 90% of what everyone already knew. Gold Roger is Gol D. Roger (shocker)
@@mrmunch5615 reread buddy zoro part isnt even important the issue is breaks not the pacing and you need to understand what is the purpose of vegapunk's message
first time this really began to get on my nerves was Little Garden and that stupid candle fight I will never get over how frustrating of a watch that shit was 😵💫😵💫😵💫
Precisely, watching the pacing of the anime after living through the pacing of the manga a year ago and waiting for your favorite scenes to get animated.
This is what happen when they're not making it, as seasonal anime. Then again, it's also weird that even if they doing it, the quality in animation is somehow lesser (Me, remembering slideshows, yet they called it anime).
they can't go seasonal cus they then lose the timeslot they've had for decades on japanese tv and with that a big chunk of their og viewership. they'll have to go one break for atleast a year or two if they are to make episodes with multichapter pacing like jjk, which they obviously wont becuase huge loss in revenue. we're in the final saga anyways in anime and manga it'll stay like this till the story ends. and even then wit will require atleast a decade after that to finish the story
I remember the sheer amount of flashbacks and shitty pacing of dressrosa, Someone counted the number of rebecca and kyros flashbacks and i believe it was around 50
I'm convinced Toei's the only studio who's still titling their episodes like this (it used to be more common decades ago when anime being aired weekly was the norm)
As someone who has read and followed the entire rooftop fight on manga which kept for roughly over 2 years (plus the occasional hiatus and golden week stuff), that's a perfect sum up of the psychology of one piece fandom around that time.
