This isn't a super in depth video on how to install these sensors, but I figured this video might be useful to someone out there. I will do updates and let you guys know if this setup is going to work. As I mentioned in the video, I might have an issue with cam sync because of the steel gear throwing off the magnet pick up.

Cant wait for the next one, im really interested in if that cam gear mod works, im building a 7m with 5m head for my 85 and not really any options for aluminum cam gears without spending a bunch of money on the gear and then having it machined to fit the cam

Yes I'm in the same boat as well. If all else fails I will just snag a fidanza aluminum gear. I've seen people use the factory cam gears to do this but never heard any feedback as far as tuning or sync issues. I guess there is only one way to find out.

Hey i got a quick question, what did you use as an idle air control valve? did you use the oem one or are there any aftermarket solutions.

I'm still running the factory iacv. It's just under the intake plenum out of sight. It works great with the new standalone. I can open and close it manually with the tuning software.
