@@brinkgrl I agree, he wasn't cheating but I think it wasn't even a whole day after that that he slept with Nikki, I can see where Peyton was offended but you're right he didn't have to apologize to either, but wild because it kinda changes the game since he did to Peyton anyway. I just don't know about Brooke and Lucas I'm trying hard to be a Brucas shipper, their energy is just off to me.

Okay, Brooke wasn‘t innocent. But Lucas wasn‘t innocent too. He hasn‘t the right to blame her. I think the chemistry about them were good but the relationship was toxic.
Yes, even I love Lucas and Brooke, but that was a really disgusting thing for her to do, just to make him jealous and with chris of all people. The things she did at the beach party and with chris, clearly show she hadn't matured at all. She was the one who wanted to be 'non exclusive ' and set lucas up on dates, so she had no right to go so far and slp with the person who everyone hated.

Let’s be real everyone, Lucas and Brooke were not meant for each other at all. Things never worked out for them and even if they tried things wouldn’t work out for them. Lucas belonged with Peyton and I’m forever a Leyton fan, I’m glad Brooke found Julian who was absolutely indeed the right person for her who had a lot in common with her and understood the pain she had carried around in her knowing how she felt he too himself also have as he was able to relate.

BL and jakep were supposed to be the endgame but because of their divorce, Sophia didn't want to kiss him in other seasons, that's why they had to change the plot again and they had to brk up abruptly. Jake too was not avbl for oth and that's why they put Lucas with that whiny backstabber who looks like his cousin or aunt. Hilarie and Bethany have said the same in intws
And Leyton wasn’t much better .. Lucas was ready to marry another woman fully knowing how Peyton felt about it. He also said he hated her for that relationship ending. Lucas was toxic to every woman he dated not just with Brooke.
@@HazelAmarieLeyton actually was the most secure couple out of all of them tbh, INCLUDING Naley, when they were together they were thriving, both times. Lucas was always so encouraging and gentle with Peyton, and Peyton was always a safe space for Lucas but she also encouraged his individuality. Lindsey was so insecure, I mean so insecure it was nauseating. Needed constant reassurance, and even she knew about the book, his whole editor 😂😂 Who goes home after kissing their ex to propose to their girlfriend? Like, Lucas knew exactly what he was doing, using Lindsey as a damn prop. She even said it so many times that she knew he was in love with Peyton, at the wedding, in the bar, at home, and even in the library Lindsey said some ugly shit. So many people got in the way of Leyton, Haley, Brooke (especially in the beginning of season 4, Karen. Leyton was way better, and everybody knew. I think the only one that wasn't a complete douche canoe about it was Nathan. I will say, Lucas was toxic, but you can't tell me that Brooke wasn't toxic and that Lindsey wasn't toxic, while they were together. Peyton's flaw was timing honestly but she wasn't really toxic when they were together besides season one, season 3 was one kiss. While she was bleeding out. But, she was willing to let go of Lucas at the expense of her own happiness and that's something that Brooke could never do, in fact she didn't give up until she saw Peyton hurting one last time, she did that shit outta spite. Leyton was way better. Way way way WAY better.
@@koriepennington5801 There are some points I agree with, brooke was definitely toxic towards Lucas, & Lindsey was extremely delusional when it came to him. This does not justify the fact that whoever each of them were with at the time, they had no c hoice but to act on spur of the moment feelings which, is toxic. If you ask me getting with other people knowing that you are in love with someone else is EXTREMELY TOXIC. In season 1 brooke made it clear to Peyton & even asked her if it was okay to go after Lucas, WHILE Peyton was on/off with Nathan. She did not have to do that, considering Nathan and Peyton were on and off like I just said. Now Peyton was dead wrong for being with Lucas behind Brooke’s back and this is just one instance where they are toxic. Sure Brooke was playing games with Lucas at the beginning of season 3, which she states because she was afraid of the same thing repeating. She should have slept with Chris no. Was it wrong Yes ? Can we understand why she did it? A little bit. She’s human everyone makes mistakes. Peyton giving up Lucas at the expense of her own happiness was not for herself. It was because she felt guilty about her feelings for him and what went down with Brooke. We even see Peyton lie to herself once again with Jake, when she mumbles Lucas name while sleeping. Leyton was the MOST toxic and insecure couple on the show. Sure they weren’t that toxic towards each other, but man the amount of people that they hurt just to get together when they could’ve just admitted they’re feeling for each other in the first place is criminal.

I think where a lot of people and I start to separate on Brooke making things clear in season 1 with Peyton, it just got weird after the 3rd episode... And she went so far to try to insert Nathan into Peyton's life like that just so she could have Lucas... That's gotta be the weirdest shit to do to your friend, try to bring a toxic ex just so you could get you rocks off for, idk, maybe for Brooke Davis, an hour? She didn't stop with any of this until Season 4 episode 8 where she literally tries taking Lucas jus to spite Peyton lol. And I mean honestly, if everyone was shitting on you and the one person you love, there wouldn't be a little bit of fear in between all of it? Literally Brooke lied about what happened in Season 4 just to try to drive a wedge between Lucas and Haley, that screams way more insecure than Peyton trying to lie to herself about how she's feeling about Lucas, and Lucas did the same thing later on because so many people have tried to get in the way of Leytonn anyway, literally everyone but Skillz and maybe Mouth
I think Lucas was attracted to Brooke and did love her he was the one who pursued a relationship and Brooke didn’t make it easy for him then. He would’ve still been dragging Brooke along with his indecisiveness over Peyton had Brooke not broken up with him .. she literally had to end things for good for him to man up and go to Peyton. Peyton was there waiting for Lucas he didn’t have much to work for she took him in regardless of his indecisiveness and immaturity in ALL of his relationships.
