Sophia Bush and Hilarie Burton do a great job acting this scene. The reaction Brooke (Sophia) has is not expected. Yes, she's about to cry but not for the reasons Peyton ( Hilarie) thought. The scene is both sweet and funny. They both do an incredible job portraying their character. It shows that their friendship will be stronger than ever! I wish that in this scene it would have just been Brooke and Payton, because of the friendship they have. This is one of my favorite moments on One Tree Hill.
This is one the reasons why Brooke was the best character. She had to wait a long time to get the happiness she totally deserved but she was always so happy and supportive to her friends . Brooke had such a beautiful heart
Argee with Brooke being th strongest one & favorite of mine she's an example of good things come to those who wait" wish ppl who deserved it don't have to wait for everything
The scene between Brooke, Peyton and Sam was nicely done. The dialogue between Brooke and Peyton was heartwarming and sweet. Sam, I think is a great additional to the scene with her smart but sweet talk. She is one of the great examples, that show all incredible things Brooke will do, like the baby she first took care of.
Peyton: ........I'm pregnant? Brooke: O_O no... Peyton: Oh Brooke don't cry, hunny. I know that you wanted to have THE baby xD I guess Brooke has always wanted to have a little one with Peyton xD
Michelle Streater I wish there had been just a small scene at the end where they are at Jamie’s game and one of em is like ‘Peyton and Lucas are running late’ so at least we get to know that they are still in their lives, ya know?
I know, bad job on the writers' part. In all honesty I think that One Tree Hill should have ended at Season 6. The show wasn't the same when Chad and Hilarie left.
Now that I think about it, Brooke and Jake should've been together. They wouldn't have had a chance in High-School, but as adults they would've been perfect. All Brooke ever wanted was to be a mom, and Jenny needed a mom more than anything. Think about how cute that family would've been.
I've definitely never pictured them together (always been a Peyton/Jake and Brooke/Julian) shipper but now that you mention it, I could totally see Brooke and Jake together and Brooke as a mom to Jenny
After years gone by, we never know if Jake ever met someone else that care for him and his daughter. Brooke obviously not a mother figure when she was in high school. Too bad Jake never came back. He was one of the first gang of Ravens and also the first to hang out at the river court gang. He's a nice guy. I even cry.. literally cried out when he had to leave crying Peyton to take Jenny back. He's so loving.
Another awesome Breyton episode......Sam is really growing on me....she is a good part of the show.....one of the best scenes of OTH! I loved the whole....."Is it Lucas's?"....funny Brooke who else would it be. Season 6 is becoming my favorite season(with Seasons 1 and 4 at a tie for second cause of Leyton!!)
"ok I ma gonna excuse myself from this whole brooke peyton lesbian hug thing" lol "julians hot for brooke. brookes totally hot for him too. do you wanna go back to living in a car" LMAO
I was just gonna throw a comment in that looked exactly like the two top comments.. This is so ironic! Hate how they cut Peyton and Lucas out especially the fact they are not coming back as a couple for the finale season!
i love this scene! i love the breyton brooke is so wonderful and nuturing in this scene! my best friend just had a baby recently! and i'll tell y there is nothin like that in the world its the most amazing feeling to be able to share that with ur best friend! and im totally like godmother brooke! its incredible thx for posting
Sometimes, I feel like they just should'a made them Lesbians and be done with it! LOL Lucas was wishy washy and I'm sorta meh on him and Petyon to certain extent. Ha!
AAHAHAHAHAHA OMG I LOVE BROOKE And I Love sam's comment '' Okey Im gonna excuse myself from this brooke peyton lesbian love hug thing'' .. ''don't forget about Julian''
The baby's Lucas's.Yes Luke and Lindsey broke it off because at the alter during their wedding,Lindsey recalled the saying "the comet" which is Peyton's car.Lucas and Peyton's first encounter was because Luke was repairing Peyton's car.(You can find that on this website type "Leyton 1.01"..you can pretty much find all the leyton scenes from ALL the seasons on here.Anyways Lindsey reliazed that Leyton were meant to be and soon Luke figured it out too and he proposed to her.Now Peyton's pregnant!!
hahahaha every time i hear sam say "brooke peyton lesbian love hug thing" i cant help but think of the time when rachel said "over possessive bestfriends with weird lesbian energy" XD
Yeah Peyton & Lucas would have been there at Brooke's wedding and when Naley had Lyida but Chad & Hilarie was busy doing other things unfortunately when they taped those two episodes so. Hopefully they will able to be back for like at least the final two episodes of the show
They should have had him in a bigger role in season 9. Coming back to help find his brother. Giving him closure on Dan. In all honesty I think a part of Lucas did love Dan, but he was so hurt by Dan's abandoning him and killing Keith that he never really did. And Dan did love Lucas too, he just did not know how to show it. They should have had some closure to that relationship. Lucas would have been there doing everything he could to find Nathan. You could tell Lucas wanted to stay when he was in the airport. It was bad writing on the writers part.
Brooke: You're really pregnant? Is it LUCAS'S? pahahahahhahaha!!! Am I the only one who was like holding their breath? And then the biggest grin ever when she squealed... Yayyyyyyyyy, Season 5 Brooke was AMAZZZZZZZZING with Peyton for the most part.
And that ends episode 5x05 You can probabvly find the scenes for every episode with "Naley 5.06", "Leyton 5.06", "Brooke/Brucas 5.06" as a search. I would go on, but if you can see how much room the last twenty minutes of an episode takes, it would take quite a bit to catch you up on the thirty episode difference.
(CONT'D) ...Brooke goes on to tell him she isn't, that she's in the studio. She asks if he's okay and he asks if she remembers the night in New York. She tells him he does, and he asks her whether she ever wonders if they chose the right paths. She answers, "Sometimes...but I have all these wonderful things in my life, things I wouldn't have had otherwise."
(CONT'D) ...over to Peyton, where it's obviously the next day, and she leaves the mail cart, trying to peek in on a meeting. The door is shut in her face. Lucas sits in LIndsey's office with a bambu plant and she invites him in. He gives her the "lucky" bambu plant and she tells him that she's looking forward to them working together. She leaves the room and he pulls out the ring box he proposed to Peyton with. The scene goes back to *present time and Lucas puts the ring in his top...
"She got everything Brooke wanted" What are you referring to besides Lucas and uh..a baby? Peyton had so much tragic things happen to her...losing BOTH of her mom's,having a risky pregnancy..and you think she should have died.I am assuming your a Brucas fan unless you just point blankly hate Peyton for other reasons. As for the "alot of people" I really don't care who agrees with you. Just because "a lot of people" believe doesn't mean what your saying is true. I love Brooke and.......
ohh i miss peyton and lucas in the show, it just ... not the same without them :'(, and btw P. Sawyer totally lied when she said that Brook would have a huge role in the baby's life
(CONT'D) He responds, nodding, "Yeah...yeah, you're right. Me too...well..." She interrups and asks if he wants her to tell Peyton he came by. He tells her, "No, it's okay," and starts to leave. Before he's gone, she calls his name. He turns around, saying, " Yeah?" She leans down on her elbows, "You still love her, don't you? Peyton?" He hesitates before answering...or not, "...I gotta get back to Lindsey." After he's walked out the door, she laughs. "...This is gonna get interesting"
(CONT'D) Nathan and Haley "fight" over whether Jamie will be a ball player or a musician, trying to get him to say "ball" or "guitar". Jamie says "ball" and they laugh, Haley saying, "It's not fair. Ball's so much easier than guitar." Nathan thanks Haley for supporting him and helping him get his dream back. They exchange, "I love you"s and Haley tells Nathan she's proud of him. Nathan says that they are going to make it and they pick up Jamie, cooing to him. The scene switches...
@Chlowis24 Ha I know right. When they wrote that episode they probably had know idea that Chad & Hilarie would be leaving the show which unfortunately did happen. :(
The episode ends with a confrontation from Brooke's mother about the "fake engagement" and how much she has to lose. Brooke tells her it was a joke and Victoria sighs in relief, "Thank God." Victoria brings up a new proposition for Clothes/over/Bros and Brooke agrees. Victoria tells her that they'll have everything they've ever wanted. She goes on to tell Brooke to call her Victoria, not "mom". It makes her sound old. Brooke looks incredulous and Ikky Vikky leaves.
(CONT'D) ...dresser droor, then stares at the picture of Nathan's championship photo. Lindsey interrupts him, and he decides to "take a walk", or so he says to Lindsey.
