One Tree Hill S1E09 "Re-Offender" 

I think this episode drastically defines the entire show

this is one of the best shows i have ever watched, and with the best soundtrack

If if if only Lucas was man enough to tell the truth to Brooke and choose Peyton

I loved her hair, it was the best hair cut of all seasons!

Look at the way Lucas looks at Peyton vs how he looks at Brooke. I mean it was clear as a day who he was in love with. And the way Brooke looked at Lucas while he was staring at Peyton says it ALL she KNEW that he loved Peyton...

LOL They did it for dramatic effect and the song helps out with that. Take away the song and you have a hilariously long and awkward moment of epic proportions lol.

Oh, how I miss OTH seeing this. The better seasons of course. Argh! The nostalgia.
