One week after quitting cigarettes 

Took me 5 years and about 30 attempts to finally quit nicotine. I've been smoke and nicotine free for over 3 years now. Keep going, it is so worth it.

I craved nicotine for about 3 months and mostly felt depressed and bored. But after that it truly got a lot better. It’s so weird to look back and realize how your brain tricks you. I definitely know the exhausting cycle you speak of and you probably feel like it’s not worth it. I guarantee you after 3 months you will feel ENTIRELY different. It is crazy how different you will feel, I assure you. Just power through it. Good luck!

It seems to be hard but I think quiting isn't actually that challenging. I've had the hardest time when I was quiting for the first time after smoking about pack a day. After couple of years I got back to it for about a year but it wasn't that hard to quit anymore. If think it's crucial to change your opinion and thinking patterns about smoking and start hating it. I think most of the people are struggling because they think the time will solve the problem for them but on the low they still love to smoke. When you change your approach and actually change your thinking it's much easier just to accept new reality instead of having constant fight with the addiction. There is a great book about it by Allen Clar. I can highly recommend it. :)

Loved this. I quit all forms of smoking on the 21st of june 2024. The subtle changes in quality of life and decision making, has been undeniably evident. Although i do think of the dopamine release you get from smoking weed, i know its for the better long term.

I wish you luck on your journey. I have tried to quit many times and failed. Something to keep me in check when keeping off nicotine is when i think of how much healthier i used to be, how i could ride bikes for miles over hills and dirt roads and how it sapped my energy and left me impoverished and frail, physically and mentally. Don't let something that starts out as a distraction or a social ritual turn into a constant part of your life because at that point it's very hard to separate that from yourself.

3rd day of no weed for me we got this!

hey guys, im 21 and i have a younger brother 2 years younger who is currently fully addicted to cigarettes. Im worried for his health and future but I dont know how to go about helping him because ive never been a smoker in my life. I'd really appreciate some advice. Thanks
