We have a Volvo XC40 Recharge (full electric). It too is a good size family car. I was able to fold down the rear seats and bring home a 75 inch TV. It costs more though. Volvo is up in the lux categories.
Oh yeah that’s a great car! I almost forgot about it bc I don’t see too many, but you’re right it’s very roomy and is a great option for a big family EV
@@OlsonFamilyElectricAdventures we like it. Great pick-up speeds and quiet interior as far as sound insulation goes. We had the on-board charger die and it took 45 days to get the part from China, but otherwise it has been nice to have in the garage. We also have a model 3 long range that we take on road trips. Went to Orlando this summer. Was able to charge in the Disney hotel parking lot. Kinda cool how they are popping up all over.
omg you have a TON of traffic in front of the house. unfortunately, that's mostly what I focused on before you got in the car. thanks for the review. i'll be taking delivery of an id.4 sometime in the next ten years (hopefully sooner)
You should update the infotainment over at the dealership. It will speed up your sistem and also the car will charge with 135 kw/h. After this update, I think the next updates will be over the air, so you don't need to go to the dealership everytime. Also, I thought the ID4s came with 3 years of free charging with Electrify America. Better check that out.
Actually, it has an 82 kilowatt battery pack with 77 kilowatts available. The remaining 5 are a buffer. I have the First Edition as well. I traded in a Jeep Compass. The Tesla brand didn't interest me.
