@@abilawaandamari8366 True but Choso also started the fight catching Yuji off guard and getting rid of one of his arms, so I’d argue that that’s a nerf considering Yuji’s all hands. The lung and foot shot was mid fight so yeah prob not a nerf.
@@padiowadio Yuji literally saw Choso first. Choso saw Yuji after Yuji already spotted him but Choso was fast enough to still shoot out q piercing blood before Yuji could act. But because Yuji saw him first, he literally put both his arms up to guard, otherwise he would've died to that hit. And let's not forget that he's immune to Chosos poisonous blood because of Sukuna. And all injuries Choso took in the fight were filler btw. In the manga he went out of the fight without anything more than light bruising. It was a one sided beatdown even after Choso was nerfed.
13:44 "Why'd you go back to the battlefield?" Because Kusakabe, despite not wanting any smoke most of the time, is actually really damn protective and honorable. He'd want to go home, but at the same time he won't leave behind his allies... Unlike a certain white-haired, gold-digging groomer
"uzumaki" is a horror manga reference to junji ito, where people turn into "spirals". thats why mahito also looked "spiralled" in the attack itself. "uzumaki" means "spiral" in japanese.
@@user-sh9ww1yk1y it's a reference because the twisted figure he uses to display uzumaki is basically ripped straight from the Uzumaki manga( more so in the original drawing he changed it up in a redraw on the full volume release)
9:39 if you go back to the end of the first season you will see why "noritoshi kamo" is so evil, he made choso's mother get pregnant and abort the children she had with a curse several times...
Something I want people to note about Choso: In this season, they made a point of labeling Todo’s fantasy as being his imagination, and they didn’t give any label to Choso’s vision. Since Todo’s scene was anime-original, I think it was partially added to make it clear that these are two different things.
Kusakabe is honestly goated he valued his life but he's not a bitch like Mei Mei he's still willing to risk his life if it comes down to it albeit reluctantly 😂
Meh I totally get why Mei Mei went awol. Jujutsu sorcerers don’t get paid enough to deal with this typa shit. Now she’s just chilling, enjoying life in Malaysia… Nanami’s dream destination💀
The best hand to hand combat of the season are for the goat Choso , I love him he's a onii san , he'll beat you up but will kill anyone who's trying to hurt you

YASSS I was waiting for you guys!!! Something fell just as Choso was explaining so to summarize what he said: he felt Yuji's death because he is able to sense any changes his little brothers go through, no matter the distance, as a side effect of his (blood manipulation) technique, and death is the final change. He can feel when his brothers are incarnated as well. If Yuji has been close to dying several times before... why did he only feel this now? Because Choso was only incarnated recently, literally at the end of s01. A reminder of s01e24 (one of my absolute favorites), the Esou and Kechizu vs YujiBara fight, Esou explained how they came into being. 150 years ago there was a woman with a special (or tragic) ability that allowed her to get impregnated by a curse. She was cast out by her family and village, and she run with her baby's corpse in her arms and unforetunately ended at Kamo Noritoshi's temple (he was possessed by the same sorcerer as Geto), the most repugnant sorcerer in history. Kamo Noritoshi proceeded to impregnate the woman nine times, mixed his blood in, and then aborted her the nine times, and thus, the nine Cursed Wombs: Death Paintings were created. Something else I'd like to remind you about this episode as well, after Yuji deals the final blow on Esou, he says or thinks "That hurt." Anyway! My favorite man is back on the screen and I'm so happy! It's so easy to see how much the animators also love Choso, he's just so cool, and we love a family man!
@@Reanimatedytfake geto is not a curse spirit He is a human socerer Sukuna is also a human socerer and not a curse spirit Gojo explained this in season 1 and sukuna confined it in the mahoraga fight
This reaction was great, one thing to note 2:56 Yuji cant willingly do a black flash. Black flash is like hitting a critical in a video game, its random, but after you hit one it can be easier to hit another, in the last episode Mahito was saying that he knows no one can willingly do a black flash, but Yuji made him FEEL like he could do one whenever he wanted. Keep up the great reactions
Fake Getos Uzumaki is actually a reference to mangaka Junji Itos horror manga story “Uzumaki”. The swirled, distorted body is a 1:1 copy of an iconic design from that story
I remember reading the manga laughing my ass off when the had miwa hyping herself up having a inner monologue just do absolutely nothing 😂 the anime made it 10 times funnier also choso is really like that! Always there for his brother 😂
Choso the goat!! Glad he teaming up with his little brother yuji now lmao, also isn't he somehow related to the other blood user as well?? Surprised that guy with the sword was actually doing something instead of hiding but ngl I thought he was yuta for a second lol. Glad to finally see Todo teacher again.
Noritoshi Kamo from 150(?) years ago, who the brain-guy once possessed, is the ancestor of that Kyoto student with the same name. The Kamo family passes down that blood-manipulation technique, and that's why Choso and his other brothers have blood-techniques too; brain-possessed Noritoshi gave them all his DNA when he pulled that cursed pregnancy experiment.
People still think yuki caused this? She just gave geto the idea, he was eventually going to think of that idea anyway since he was on the breaking point 💀🙏
She never said to go do it lol they’re just talking about philosophies and even said even she’s not crazy enough to do that, geto is still at fault since he actually went and did the action. Who’s dumb enough to do it as well considering he’s not even the top 2 strongest characters in his time when he wanted to kill all humans, so not sure how he even thought he could pull it off
@@farsous10 only people that would have been able to overpower geto at that time are gojo and maybe yuki. Fake geto even states in this episode that yuta would have lost if geto hadn't of spread himself thin. Also geto's plan wasn't to kill all humans. He was hoping that by presenting a large enough threat to non-sorcerer humans he could force them to evolve into sorcerers, thereby wiping out all non-sorcerer humans and eliminating curses as a whole. It basically would have been the opposite of how gojo's existence forced cursed spirits to evolve in recent years because of how imbalanced things were. It's still an insane idea that I don't think would ever work and would have spilled countless innocent blood, but i can see how someone as broken and desperate as geto would come to a flawed conclusion like that. MANGA SPOILERS BELOW. There's also technically Tengen but I don't think he should really count since I don't think he would do anything, and his power is pretty limited from what we saw in the yuki, choso, tengen vs. kenjaku fight.
@@gun506 at the time of the movie yea yuta by then wouldn’t have beat him at full power geto, but yuki 100% would, her and gojo are stronger than geto, but gojo’s an obvious one since the gap is so so large
@@ashyroy9454 no we don’t you illiterate buffoon. Why does he look extremely similar to Sukuna? Whats with his family? Why did you know who choose him?
Im So damn incredibly Hyped! to see last Episode of Season 2 end with Ch. 137!! Considering this episode 22 leaves off around start of 136 I believe? And consisted of I believe 4? Or 5 Chapters? So theres no way they can avoid doing 137 and Imo ending S2 on 137 would be peak hype!! Cant Wait For The Jaw Dropped Reactions!!!
4:06 another moment that we manga readers were eager to see the reaction of the anime onlys 😂 KL = Kuala Lumpur, Mei Mei is in the place Nanami wanted to go after Shibuya ☠️ If you consider how she manipulates Ui Ui and how she likes money, she is the complete opposite of Nanami
I know I'll probably gonna get roasted here, but I have a sincere doubt about something: do you think "weak" characters shouldn't exist and/or shouldn't have screentime whatsoever?? Tbh I had forgotten about the Kobeni stuff back in the days, but seeing how you react to the blond witch girl kinda reminded me of that. I'm not even gonna say "it's bc she's a female character" or whatever, but I'm legit curious. What do you think of these "weak characters"? You think they shouldn't exist? Cause the students from Kyoto BARELY appeared in this arc, and now they arrive, and you already want to see them off again?
Depends on how they’re used, they were useful in s1 during the tournament arc since everyone were relatively on the same level except for a certain few ofc. Though when the plot gets thicker clearly the author knows the Kyoto students are weak that’s why they barely got screen time, the only student characters from Kyoto that are actually very capable are todo and mechamaru. Though you can say that only 3 characters from Tokyo are competent enough as well, yuji, maki and megumi, and nobara technically had potential but she wasn’t progressing as fast. Inumaki and panda are useless. And obviously yuta is the strongest student since he’s a special grade so makes him literally top tier in the verse in general so he’s an exception
I think they’re throwing their lives away. There’s nothing wrong with acknowledging you’re significantly under leveled for the battle you’re about to partake in. Live to fight another day and grow stronger.
Sukuna really saw Todo and went, "That guy was hilarious, imma use that." ALSO WHERE TF IS YUTA? IS THIS BOI ON APPLE MAPS, WTF IS THIS? PICK UP YO LEGS, YUTA.
Man PLEASE let Choso live, I want to see him fight with us for awhile. Also Yuki got to stay too, we lost sooo many man, we need characters to stick around.
"Geto" using Uzumaki on Miwa is the equivalent of Megumi summoning Mahoraga on Shigemo. If Mappa does what I think they'll do, we're gonna be in for one hell of an after credits scene next week
"Geto" was putting that throat to work. Using the gawk gawk swallowtron 9000 technique. My poor Mahito just had to be the one he practiced on. Stop swallowing children, Not-Geto. Speaking of being weird around children, Mei Mei. Nothing to really say here. I get it. Gege wanted to portray that Nanami was an honest sorcerer and couldn't achieve his dream but someone coldhearted, cruel and disgusting like her could. But boy is it still weird. Grooming your underage brother is not a good look. Delving more into the Mahito scene, if you remember, there was a really odd scene a few episodes ago where Mahito just stared at fake Geto after what happened with the Prison Realm and everyone announced their plans. This imposter planned everything out. From Gojo's capture to having Sukuna as a backup plan to the exact date that the plan would be executed. And yet, after the plan was done, he suddenly became a lot less specific and basically went, "Uh, do whatever you want." Someone who planned things out that meticulously suddenly just improvising was odd. His words suddenly seemed less true. And that's why Mahito tried to touch him first. He was born from humans. And one thing he knows extremely well is just how quickly they are to betray those closest to them.
the guys: "lmfao she be blueballing this kid" the girl: "bruh that's a fucking CHILD" why am i not surprised y'all didn't catch onto the implied grooming smh
The grandfather told Yuji he had something to tell him about his parents. But he died before he could. So there is something to Choso being his brother because of the cursed spirit. And explains a lot about Yuji 💡
Urame was actually in S1 when we first see Dagan's domain. Urame was also already working with Geto at the beginning of the season. Urame is loyal to Sukuna. So what does that tell you?
Hate how Yuji didn't get to kill Mahito... but at least he's not coming back anymore and in a version of hell. They should have attacked sooner while Choso was fighting "Geto". Also, why does Sukuna want Geto alive? And I'm still getting conflicting messages about Sukuna caring about Yuji living or not... And Miwa's sword noooooo!
They didn't attack sooner cause they don't know Choso. In fact Yuji believes he is an enemy. They weren't sire cause Choso could attack them too if they jump in.
@@farsous10 Generally I know, but first I thought he wouldn't want Yuji to die because then he'd have to start over in another host or he is released but not at the strongest he could be. But then people said no but then in this episode it seemed like it's important for Yuji to live for Sukuna's sake. I'm just confused.
Damn! This episode sure was a plot bomb. A lot was revealed and some of the pressing questions I had were answered. I knew Mahito was gonna get absorbed, which sucks cause I wanted to see him die already! Mei Mei seems to be fine and Kusakabe is still super relatable 😆 But we get to see him, Uraume and FINALLY Tsukumo Yuki in action. Bout damn time we got back up. I guess there’s a lot to see about Itadori’s background and his connection to Choso. But damn is he goin I’m for his brother, I hope he doesn’t die. Speaking of which where is Todo in all this? And where the hell is Yuta? It’s good that ALMOST everyone has entered the fold and is helping at least. I can’t wait for the next episode cause things are so chaotic and tremendous right now! 🤘🏽
Mei Mei is the antithesis of Nanami. She uses people and see them as tools. Thats what that scene meant. Nanami wanted to go to Malaysia. yall right about the curse taking over yuji parents and birthing him, you just guessed the wrong parent lmao fake Geto is the bigger villain than mahito btw. Mahito purpose was to fight Yuji and friends, get stronger so he can consume him.
my theory is that it’s actually yujis mom who was inhabited by whatever’s in geto because we’ve seen his dad and he didn’t have the scare but we never seen yujis mom also his grandpa told his dad to watch out with that woman so sus imo.
brain-kun ain't a curse idk why sherm thinks so...terrance buddy you ain't spoiling if you clarified that to them, cuz it's been foreshadowed in S1 and S2.
_Yuji and Choso ARE brothers. It’s shown in the episode that Kenjaku takes over bodies & gets others pregnant and has kids. Choso is one of em. Yuji is also one of em._
None of this is a spoiler or new information, in fact a lot S1 info: Fake Geto can transfer bodies and has been Kamo Noritoshi in the past thus he's at least 150 years old. Since Kamo experimented on the woman whom birthed the Death Paintings via impregnating and adding Kamo DNA he's technically their father. If Choso is Yuji's brother it doesn't necessarily mean Yuji's a death painting or related to Kamo. In fact Yuji can't really be a Death Painting due to his ancestry and what we know about the Death Paintings. (All the Death Paintings being sealed away and also Yuji is heavily implied to have normal human development and relationships) Also if you was a Death Painting then he'd have a CT (cursed technique) likely Blood Manipulation technique but he doesn't possess any. He'd also have a lot cursed energy (like Special Grade levels) but he's only recently gotten to First Grade level. So that leaves one option. Yuji must be related to Fake Geto in some way that he's unaware of.
