Onions are full of oxalates, lectins, phytotoxins, anti-nutrients and goitrogens. Like all plants they don't want to be eaten and have chemical defences to deter eating. Eating onions isn't actually good for you. I support regenerative farming and grazing but I'm just telling you that plants are not really very good for you.
