Hello Language Lady! I'm an ESL teacher from Barcelona, Spain :) I am currently teaching English to very young learners, from 3 to 5 years old in kindergarten and 1st and 2nd grades in Primary School. I'm working in a Primary School from Barcelona. I'd like to see fun tools for teachers that we can use for our online classes and for our videoconferences with the kids. Hi. Thanks for all your resources so far. I'm Brenda. I'm an Indonesian teacher. Teaching the first and the second graders are also quite challenging as the students often feel bored and tired especially the light from the screen make them easier to get tiring eyes. Online learning are limiting their activities and also me, as a teacher. But, thanks for your willingness to share your knowledge for us, so my students become more engaging and get motivated to learn.

Thanks! I've used a couple of these but the matching game was new for me; I'll have to try it! I also recommend the site Quizziz for online review or even a fun testing format. Similar to Kahoot, but students see the questions on their individual screens instead of on the teacher's, so it's easier to play with a group in a remote learning format. I enjoy your videos; keep them coming!

The Language Lady I run an educational therapy business and teach students with all kinds of learning difficulties. We teach from age 4 to adults in literacy or math. In West Australia we are pretty much free from COVID atm but it’s on the other side of the country now so it’s probably only a matter of time before it visits us here on the west coast. I teach in California, US. I teach ELLs in K - 5th grade. Now that I'm comfortable conducting a lesson with zoom that is conversation based, I'd like to learn some interactive activities. @@TheLanguageLady That is great. - depending on the age levels of your students at your school, you can students with scratch but encourage them to learn to create an actual game. With high school students, play canvas is great for 3d presentations, sci-fi short films, interactive web games, etc.

Yes, that was the hardest part about the pandemic. It was frustrating for me to not be able to provide in person support because providing technical support over the phone is not the same.
