INGREDIENTS (for about 3 servings)
2 large apples
3 tablespoons (45 ml) heavy cream/ half and half cream/ whole milk
2 tablespoons (20 g) light brown sugar (adjust the sweetness according to the apples used)
3 tablespoons (45 ml) vegetable oil
1/2 cup (45 g) oats (Instant or Old Fashioned)
Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 18-20 minutes until crisp on top
NOTES:
Best apples for baking: Golden Delicious, Honeycrisp, Crispin, Granny Smith, Pink Lady, Cortland, Braeburn, Red Delicious, Gala. Chopped nut and raisins can also be added to the oats to enhance the taste.
