@The Last Day Breathing in Eternal Snow. Hey, how are you? I'm answering your post because you are goth and a metalhead. Normally, as I don't consider emo to be goth , I wouldn't waste your time but since you have great taste in other music genres, in my opinion. I was a hardcore punk in the mid '70s, then in the 80's I found goth rock/deathrock. In the 90's I found Grunge/Post Grunge. Now I listen to a combination of Deathrock, Post Grunge and Nu Metal. All our music tastes progress with the decades and the evolution of the music, it is a living thing. I have always viewed emo bands/duos as Post Punk music only, not a goth sub genre. Even though they have the asthetic of the make up. The music appeared to evolve from punk into skate punk/post punk/grunge/post grunge and apart from goth altogether. Just the opinion of an old punk rocker. I guess opinions are like heads, everyone has one. Btw, there is currently a Deathrock revival going on on the West Coast of the U.S. 😊

I love a mixture of Technical Death Metal, Progressive Metal, Dsbm, Stoner Metal, Nu Metal, I love Darkwave, Goth Rock, and Deathrock.. stuff like Bauhaus, She Past Away and Specimen are awesome bands. I also listen to classical music, orchestral music, video game music, and meditation music because it's what I grew up on to, I even listen to French pop music because my mom use to play it around me as a child.. uh yeuh lol.. I've had 1 inch gauges since 2003. This isn't even close 2 emo. But I am glad that the genre is still jamming. Sorry I'm not one of those angry old timers. Just listen to some cool old stuff
