Oompa Loompa, Doopity doo I've got another puzzle for you Oompa Loompa, Doopada dee If you're wise, You'll listen to me Gum chewing's fine, When it's once in a while It stops you from smoking and brightens your smile But it's repulsive, revolting and wrong Chewing and chewing all day long The way that a cow does Oompa Loompa, Doopity da Giving good manners, You will go far You will live in happiness, too Like the Oompa Loompa, Doopity do
:24 I never noticed it but I love how there are two Oompa Loompas who are just walking away like they don't get paid enough for this nonsense and let the other ones do all the work.
Bro i got here because i didnt know exactly which song was sampled by the Tribe Called Quest on the outro of The Space Program, which is kinda funny since you would guess im young for not seeing this movie before but on the other hand i listen to Tribe Called Quest. Would be interesting to see what people would guess my age to be.
"It’s repulsive revolting and wrong, chewing and chewing all day long." (makes Everlasting Gobstopper that you can suck and suck and suck and it never runs out)
Although it may sound like they're harmonizing in some parts, they're not. Since this movie was filmed in Munich most of the little people portraying the Oompa Loompas didn't speak English
She was a doll because her body was too big to fit through the big metal door, and then they would roll her out and she would always bump into the frame, so they had to have a bit smaller doll.
so i watched WWATCF with commentary on earlier then came across this. sorry to say, it is not a doll. she is actually in a styrofoam suit that was made specially for her, of course. while shooting this scene, she was in this suit for hours before this scene was ever finish. poor girl even missed her lunch because they forgot her in the suit, but she made our blueberry dreams and became our epic blueberry queen in trade! i love you violet!
Years late, but I think I saw either in the DVD commentary or read that at one point she was a doll, but do not quote me on this. It might be on the IMDB if you want to find out more.
Im saddened to say there is only about 5 holes everything can get juiced out from unless it goes through the skin somehow. All 5 would be terribly painful.
Violets makeup actually got stuck on for months but i didnt get it from shorts i knew it but then i saw yt shorts of it and she lost all her teeth and got cavities and hafld to give up chewing gum but i started finding the same stuff on yt shorts ots true
It was considered rude especially when kids don’t know how to close their mouths yet when eating let alone chewing. Making that squish sound every second and stretching their gum. Like the oomph loops say it’s fine once in a while but too much and people will get disgusted.
@gamero31o One day in a coffee shop, there was a woman sitting near me, doing everything with chewing gum that you should not do. Clicking it, snapping it, chomping with an open mouth, even letting it hang off of her teeth.
Funnily enough, this is wrong. Chewing strengthens your jaw muscles and literally makes your face more attractive. The less you chew, the less healthy your teeth are (not counting tobacco chewing ‘cuz that’s like keeping acid in your mouth.) The lesson here was a complete sham that made people less healthy and uglier!
To be fair Violet is mostly seen just open mouthed smacking the gum which is kinda gross. And she chews the damn thing 24/7. Three months straight she said she had been chewing on that one same piece of gum in her golden ticket interview. I don’t think watching someone just chew gum all day like a cow makes them look all that attractive. To be clear I’m talking about the chewing motion itself. It’s much more constant compared to when you chew food. The maximum amount of time I’ll chew a piece of gum is maybe an hour or two once or twice a day and I keep my mouth closed.
In the movie or the book? I read the book years ago, so I don't remember. The one thing I DID notice, however, was that in the Johnny Depp version, they did not close-up on the on the children leaving the factory.
No, in that film, we DO see the children leaving the factory as in the book. In this one, we do not, although we are assured (Charlie rather) that they will be fine and leave there hopefully a little bit wiser for the wear.
@jlius512:I liked your comment;I think we both live in the same area;because I've seen many of those also at Wal Mart, and by golly they were trying to walk.....HA HA HA
Damm but i dtill think the book/2005 songs are better Like i saw a perfomance by king acedamy doing this and it was really good It was on youtube btw i didnt see that in rl
They are running for their lives. Just kidding, I am sure they just thought that they had enough Oompa Loompas, but I wish they stayed. I stumbled across a reply to you I posted eight months ago, but I do not remember posting it all. I have a great memory, been so busy these past few months, and I try whenever possible to post complete, grammar corrected sentences.
@@alessandro5932 still Willy Wonka has more Oompa Loompas. I would have loved to see more Oompa Loompas then. There are much more present during the blueberry scene from the 2005 film.
I've seen both versions and I have to say I far prefer the original the songs are better and the whole movie itself was just better .......the Jonny Deep version was just .......weird .....overly weird
@@RandomVidsforthought it was mainly because it showed what happened to the kids afterwards although in neither does Wonka say that despite what they did they were still going to get their lifetime supply of chocolate (possibly the money too since they would've sold their gobstoppers after getting the boot)
@@nicklancial7103I don't think that they could have sold the gobstoppers for money since the guy who was buying them was Wonka's agent, setting a trap for the kids.
@@abduljah9355 I have a feeling they would've gotten the money it's just that amount was like a drop in the bucket compared to what they could've really won
