Hi. Sorry. Thank you for the video. I can't find any information on these. Well a full tear down. The problem I am having with mine is a rattle from inside the eps when going over small bumps /gravel road. I have not stripped it has yet incase I need a replacment(no stock 2nd hand) do you know what this rattle could be? I have taken off the torque sensor and seems like the rattle is comming from the sliding collar/damper/torque converter.
what do u mean by a grinding noise? what is the symptoms to know that is a broken gear? and also what causes it, to overcome after maintenance. Thanks in advance
I had a similar problem and the easiest and most expensive solution is to replace the entire bottom part of the column, but I chose the difficult and cheap solution by 3D printing the broken blue gear and finding a best way to fit back in, then you have to reset your EPS unit. Contact me if you need more information.
so my car Corsa C have this problem i guess...when the car is not moving, and even when the engin is on, the steering is kinda hard, but when wheels start moving the steering works fine and easy, and i could hear a little pop beneath the steering wheel everytime i turn it all the way to park or something, some people told me it's the gear and i need to change the whole collumn, and if i don't the steering wheel might get blocked or something
I think I have the same problem with my corsa C. Did you replace just the broken part or the whole steering column? I can't find spare parts to fix this :(
firstly diagnose your car to check if there are any faults stored secondly reset your steering torque sensor, check my other video on how to reset steering torque sensor ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nlx_umMnbic.html
Hello, I have a problem with my Corsa 2, I am Pablo from Argentina, my car is hard on the steering, and it has a few brief "jumps" when turning the wheel, could you help me please? For the moment, repair the entire steering box, but the problem seems to be in the electric assistance, I also tried to regulate the potentiometer, but I still have the problem. Some advice would be helpful. Thanks
