Triple action carabiners require you to slide, twist, and then open the gate. They are very secure, but they can be a little tricky to open with one hand. If you use this technique, it's pretty easy. Use your ring finger to press down on the bottom of the carabiner, and then you can use your thumb and index finger to open the gate.
