We can cut clear and white acrylic with that laser

Thank you for getting in touch. It's important to note that diode lasers are most effective on materials that can absorb light. Thus, they may not be the best option for cutting clear or white acrylic since these materials reflect laser light instead of absorbing it. For cutting clear and white acrylic, CO2 lasers are generally the better choice.

Is there away to hook up both the Laser and the Router Lead from the IoT Switch at the same time without having to switch back and for all of the time? I'm concerned about damaging the BlackBox conections having to continuously change back and forth all of the time or am I missing something?

This is a great question Ronald and I talked it over here with the Team and we will be adding this to the OpenBuilds docs soon. In the meantime if you want to get started on yours, this is what the technician had to say about it "I usually recommend a SPDT switch in the PWM line , center tap to BlackBox, left to IoT, right to Laser's PWM input - makes for a nice safe "laser disarm" too"

I was wondering if is it possible to use this BLACKBOX in exchange of original motherboard in Universal M300 laser cutter?

With several passes this can definitely cut through leather.

So when you want to use laser you have to flash the firmware to LEAD 1010 w/ Laser then if you want to mill again flash it to LEAD 1010 ?

You can keep the same firmware settings (LEAD 1010 w/ Laser) for both the laser mod and mill. 👍

Can anyone tell me,, what is the function of the Jtech controller that the Blackbox doesn't do?

If you are referring to the controller that comes with the Jtech laser, then this is not an actual controller but a driver for the laser, you would connect the driver to the BlackBox
