Hey y’all ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 If you are reading this, thank you! This is the first of a couple videos that I’ll post this month before we are gone. 🥰 Just want to encourage to watch the full video before making any assumptions! I really go into depth and the Lord has brought me through so much to even share this with y’all. So grateful for you guys as you’ve always been family to me growing up. 🥹

We are the same age and I probably started watching you around age 14/15, it’s so crazy to think how fast time went by. You were always my favorite because you were genuine & god focused! Wow Chels!! Saw the title and came right away! Watched the entire video and all I kept thinking was that this made sense and that I believe it’s the right decision! I’ve seen so many of my favorite RU-vidrs from back in the day come to the same conclusion as you and the ones that really mean it…..you can tell that their hearts weren’t in it anymore, which is just a part of life. I started watching you all several years ago because I found Your and Nicks testimonies about believing in Jesus and how you came to know Jesus and how he has changed your lives, Me being a Christian myself, I was so excited knowing I could finally watch something decent on You tube when I found this channel, this channel has been such an encouragement to me. There are very few channels on You tube that are Biblically based and has true Believers in Christ, and that's worth watching, You and Nick were THAT VERY FEW....... I'm so saddened and heartbroken that I won't be able to go to your channel anymore for guidance, uplifting, for encouragement, for the Biblical spiritual aspect of it all. I could tell just by watching the videos that you all were truly believers in Christ and how you all set the example of being Christians. I don't know if I will ever be able to find another channel as Spiritually, biblically based as yours was...makes me want to cry just thinking about it. But anyways, I do understand that you got to do what you feel led to do by God and by the Holy Spirit. Just know that you've been a tremendous help to me in the past years, when I was down, discouraged, or needed strength or just an encouraging word, I flipped over to your channel for that help. As I finish writing this and as my tears are falling from my eyes, I pray, and I hope God richly Blesses you and your family abundantly. This video made me sad I won’t lie about that. You’ve done so much for me Chelsea! I met you at one of those beauty events at least 6 years ago. Can’t even remember what it was called. But I’m 23 now (and newly married) and it’s been so great to watch you grow in life. It has felt like I can watch you as an inspiration because you walk into stages of life right before I do. Thank you for being you and being such a genuine person. I love the things you prioritize in your life and I strive to be the same. I love that you care to benefit your viewers instead of following the trends of surface level videos simply for entertainment. You deserve so much happiness. I will admit, it is very sad to see you go. I grew up watching you and being the same age, it was as if I had a friend guiding me through adolescence. I have loved watching you grow over the years, especially in your faith. I also grew closer to Jesus after high school and found my faith stronger now, than it ever has been. I am a momma to 4 kiddos and I have been trying the RU-vidr life for the last few years and it has been a slow growing process. I have found myself questioning if it is what I am called to do and to see you leaning on God to show you your path really impacts me to do the same. Hi! Not sure if you remember me but here is something exciting for me too, yesterday I fully accepted the holy spirit. I got baptized. My son who is now one was able to watch and experience that with me. That will forever be a memory that I get to share with him and what the holy spirit can do to someone. ❤ I just feel so good and at peace. Its been a hard year. The last six months I've been trying to reconnect with the Lord and yesterday I really just felt Him. ❤ I just feel good and I feel good about me and my son's life. I feel good about alot. I feel warm, safe, and protected.

I absolutely love how honest this is. I went through a VERY similar thing recently, when I felt God inviting me to step out of my career in marketing (for basically all my life since I was a kid!) last year. I felt him telling me to pursue my unique purpose, not just the potential of what has succeeded or what felt comfortable or even logical... and that instead of focusing on the "transition" of what's next, to also be paying attention and present to what he was doing in terms of the TRANSFORMATION he wanted to do in the process. It was scary because I didn't know if people would understand, what they'd think, or what would happen later. But like you said, I knew I didn't want to live in regret, knowing deep down I wasn't doing what God was leading me into... when we can never get time back. It was literally one of the hardest but also most transformative periods of my life, where he showed me things he wanted me to unlearn that I never even knew were there (but were formed in me since I was young) - but which I strongly believe necessary to prune for better and more sustained fruit in the future. And I'm definitely still in the process, too. :) But ironically, as we were praying and fasting, he also gave me and my husband clarity about his calling for us to launch a podcast (at least in this season) / online ministry, and we really feel so purposeful and fulfilled - not because of the work itself and testimonies from people, but because we know we have obeyed God and are just doing our best to follow his lead. I pray that this next season would be the same for you guys, that God would continue to strengthen you, encourage you, guide you, AND transform you from the inside out as you follow him in faith and obedience!!! I have no doubt in my mind he will show you what's next. But more importantly, may he also show you how he wants to grow, prune, transform you in the process!

i’m so glad you shared this because it’s honestly brought so much clarity to a something i’m going through right now. i love how the Holy Spirit works☺️ i’m a junior in high school and God has just called my family to move from our home town to a “hurting and dying” city as Pastors. well i was given the choice to either move or stay in my town with a friend to finish up my junior and senior year, but i didn’t know which to choose. i really love my home town, but i can’t see my future here being very fruitful. at the same time i’m terrified of moving because i’m so comfortable here. but now i know without a doubt that i’m supposed to go. i’m supposed to leave because if i stay here, i’ll be trapped and won’t be able to experience all God has for me. thanks for being obedient to the Holy Spirit and sharing this video! i have so much more clarity. God is starting a new thing:)

I subscribed to you for your mental health content back when you were like 18 I believe it was when I subscribed to you and recently I became more serious in my relationship with christ and you and Nick are definitely a huge inspiration for me to be better as a Christian and in my relationship in Christ. I've read your book "Your Own Beautiful" and I know you wrote that book with women in mind as the target audience but as a person who at the time had next to no self confidence and little to no friends your book inspired me to be more confident in myself. The impact you've had on my life and my relationship with Christ has been exponential and I'll forever be grateful for that.

Chelsea, I've been watching you since the "early days" and "growing up" through all these different stages of life. And honestly, when I saw this video, yes, I was sad. It is always sad watching a creator leave the platform that I've watched for so long, but I also know that when God is calling you to something, that's the most important thing. But fun fact that after your marriage, I learned a lot from you both and use in my marriage life about beeing closer to God, empathy, humbleness, joy and so on. Maybe God sees what you been going through, but He knows better and wants you to be a whole Him along with your family. I'm not a subscriber of your channel but I have seen or watched a couple of your videos and even though I don't know you as well as your subscribers do, I applaud your brave decision to be open and honest about why you're leaving your platform. I think it's really cool how the Lord is speaking to you through your friends and in other ways to help you walk closer to Him and be the person He created you to be. You are really wise for someone as young as you and mature too. I'm glad you're cutting ties with unhealthy habits or strongholds from your life. This verse came to mind as I'm typing, “Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us." -Hebrews 12:1 I think your message is really important and needs to be heard by many. I'm also in a season where I need to take a step back from social media and blogging for similar reasons that you have shared. We'll never find fulfillment and purpose for our lives if we're constantly living for validation or approval from others. I'm happy that you're taking that journey to unravel your desires and start anew. I look forward to seeing more updates from you.

Your family has been such a light to us and I am grateful that you guys are choosing to do what is healthy for your family and most importantly, what God wants for your lives. I totally get where you are coming from with doing things that no longer fulfill... It doesn’t make sense to force it! Also, you spoke on something that resonated with me - what’s the purpose of doing and/or constantly watching things that don’t edify? Sigh. I’ve gotten to the point where I switch off notifications because the overload of pranks, misleading headlines and deception etc. that saturates social media has gotten to me. Life is short and fragile and in these times it is only sensible that we “look up”! Even though it may be hard (given you’ve done this for basically half of your life - I think 😂), always remember that God’s plans for you are exceedingly more than you can ask or imagine. Periodically every few years your content will resurface onto my feed and I always think “oh yeah Chelsea, wonder what she’s been up to”. One time I found out you were actually attending my university for a hot second lol! Every time I “catch up” with you I feel like God allowed your video onto my feed to deliver a specific message to me. Your heart and light have been a constant in my life and a way God has gently reminded me of His love for me and that He has not abandoned me. Thank you for growing up with us here on the internet. I just recently found your channel! I'm 38 weeks pregnant with my second and having a home birth this time around. I was really inspired and encouraged by your home birth vlog! After 10+ years of being on Instagram, I deleted my account a year ago for similar reasons you have decided to step away from RU-vid. After my daughter turned a year old, I had a realization of how I had documented and shared every second of her life - posting to my feed or stories constantly, mainly to get attention and 'likes'...It was a huge awakening when she was 6 months, picked up my phone and knew how to turn on the camera. One of her first words was also "phone". It honestly scared me. Realizing that she spent the first year of her life having a phone camera in her face wrecks me. Choosing to leave was hard, mainly because my flesh craved the attention and recognition. Sometimes it's still hard being off of there, but I know it is the best choice I made when it comes to my children's wellbeing.

The dream is actually saying that "Worship me" not idols in the table (make up and all related such in terms of attention seeking from people while He YAHSHUA, is actually seeking your private and personal worship) Worship is not all things that you are ..your life, how you live it, raise your children, what you decide to study .. everything we do is worship, but He's simply saying, there's just waaaay too much fake things in the way of your worship of Me that He's just seeking that PERSONAL worship relationship with you...just you, like He's saying "SEEK ME!"not all these other things that are getting all the attention than Him. YAHSHUA doesn't want us to have idols. He wants Him to get all the attention, not stuff that doesn't benefit the spirit but just the flesh. Your friend is a very personal friend you should keep her close for your spiritual strength hence you invited her into your room...cos one's room is a very personal space.

AWW I've been watching you since 2012 when you were doing your makeup giveaway!! I'm happy you found a new path in life off of YT. I had a very similar experience with success online as a child and eventually quit due to college. But it feel like the best freedom. I know this isn't relevant, but the Lord is pressing on my heart to tell you this. I highly suggest looking into sabbath day worship. Worshiping on a day He has ordained for worship is essential to knowing Him. Sunday is not the sabbath day. It's a day! But it's not the sabbath day. The seventh day (Saturday) is the sabbath day. Genesis 2:2. I'm neither Jewish nor am I messianic jew; I just wanted to tell you about what the Father desires for us. It seems as though many people ignore every verse that has anything to do with the Sabbath. But I'm telling you guys, that if you look indeed, you shall find. Look for the LORD; you'll find ALL you need to know! (matthew 7:7). The LORD has picked a day and sanctified a day to spend the day with you, the whole day. Yes, there is Sunday worship. But this day is so much different! leviticus 23:32. Sabbath worship is different from Sunday worship because this is the day he has picked to spend with you. So that you can rest, a day where you are commanded to rest. Rest as though He is here (because He is: 1kings 8:57). What better thing to do than place all your worries at the Father's feet at the end of an exhausting week. For one whole day to dwell with him. I highly suggest reading Leviticus 23, exodus 20. Proud of you Chels 🎉 I’ve been watching your videos since the beginning, I’m 22 now with a one year old and super close to having our second! Really feels like we’ve grown up at the same time, love where the Lord is leading you! It’s been cool to see your content shift to faith based stuff (I’m Christian also), and then marriage related, and then motherhood content! I completely understand your reasons for leaving, and there’s absolutely no shame in leaving. I also really loved watching Sarah Therese, and I felt the same way about her leaving too, I think it’s best for your guys’ lives, and the direction God has for you. Super happy to hear you’re not ignoring His call on your life! Hey Chelsea, I know you don't know me but I feel like we are friends. I've been with you since the beginning. I remember when I found you, I was so excited to find someone who was excited about God and strong in their faith. We have matured together. Thank you for helping and being an inspiration to me. I've loved seeing your relationship with Nick as you guys are a big inspiration to me to find my future husband. I'm so thankful for this decision in your life. Dust off those shoes girl! You are a sunny spot in this dark screen world. I try my best to stay off this stuff too. Getting out into the forest with my kids today to enjoy the beauty God has in store for us out in the real world. You gotta be present as a mom. Maybe the guitar is telling you to praise Jesus with your sweet music! In whatever way that will take you. Music that the ones who have ears to hear will. This platform has given you the chance to cross paths with many other souls. Definitely gotta keep it moving tho. You don't need any of that makeup to let Jesus' beauty shine out from within ya! Stepping out into obedience is so hard is necessary to step out. I am so sad that I no longer going to see many more videos, it is honoring the Lord over honoring people, which ultimately is where the Lord is leading. Galatians 1:10 is a tough verse too but I think pleasing God over people is important!
