Thank you for posting this wonderful interview. He is very open about many aspects of his life, both professional and personal. It is a joy to listen to his many great previous performances and to realize that he is still quite active in the opera and concert world.
He has a very expressive striking face with suttle changes and is very articulate. He could have done movies. The strange thing in that video, compared to other ones of his, is that his spoken voice sounds dark as if he was a smoker, though his singing voice sounds often much clearer.
Couldn't agree more. A natural born actor with subtle changes in expression conveying certain emotion or changes in emotions in a naturally convinving immersive way, seldom overexagerrated, very refreshing to see in opera.
