she was broadway trained from the start, meaning she’s had perfect diction ever since. so her diction technically did not improve, she just chooses not to enunciate properly whenever it comes to her music bc it’s a stylistic choice.

.loved this, I did opera in school, literally all you spoke was facts. People don’t understand how hard her songs are, it’s nite just the notes, it’s the way she approaches them, vowels, chest, mixed, movement, the audience, everything.!!

I loved this analysis! I’ve been a fan of Ariana for years 🖤🖤. She performed a set of musical theater songs with Jason Robert Brown a while back, maybe 5 years ago, and it’s fantastic. My favorite is the the second song in the set, “I’m getting out.” I think you might really enjoy it!

my favorite performance of this song was her very first live performance at the amas (could have been a different awards show, but i'm pretty sure it was the amas). she was in the red sequin dress with the old school microphone and it was just... flawless. i loved it.

Funny how some will knock her down for her jaw movements and while it might not be necessary to produce the sound like a Rachelle Ferrell does, I really kind of enjoy it, I wonder if Ferrell is one of her influences But some people have to hate and there isn't much to hate about Ariana Grande Not much to hate about this reaction either Jess, another great job

Listening to this you can hear what a better vocalist Ariana is now, compared to just having a beautiful tone. Her voice really does bloom between between C#-F, her sound is so bright

Hey, on your reaction to Home Free's cover of 'Man Of Constant Sorrow' you said you wanted to hear more from Adam Chance. I just remembered a few songs where he sings lead. My favorite of those is 'Some Girls Do' but he is also featured heavily in their covers of 'Die A Happy Man', 'Think A Little Less', and a song Tim helped write called 'Snow Globe'. Some Girls Do and the first two others I mentioned are some of my all time favorites. Now, on another note, people told you you should wait to watch Home Free's cover of Mayday by CAM. I think after watching one of the above videos you would know them well enough to be appropriately surprised by their....surprise in Mayday.
