Gilles, the Tecsun PL=330 is a quality shortwave portable but unlike the ZHDATA/Sihuadon D-808 it doesn't have RDS on the FM band! Thank you for the video tutorial on the Tecsun PL=330!

I am new to shortwave radio, and watched a number of your videos that really helped out a lot. If you would write somekind of handbook, i would defenetly buy it! .
Not bad radio, but two years after boght it, the charging socket begins to fail contact. With the Tecsun PL310ET the same problem was happens. Tried with a two new cable but problem persists.
One persistent bug in my PL-330 is if you set the radio to external antenna (long press 3 with the radio on) and you run an ETM on MW or LW, when you get to tune through the channels it heard on ETM, the external antenna function has disabled itself, you have to long press 3 again...but when you move onto the next station it heard you have to once again set it to external...very annoying...anyway maybe the later models have sorted this, I dont know.
Tecsun PL 330 form factors: Great on price SSB upper and lower DSP Fine Tuning of stations High Sensitivity I think this an amazing bargain. I own one of those cheap shortwaves from a $2 shop. Nothing is as good as this. Picks up stations but not many. Too many chinese stations in Non English.
sorry I haven’t hear the station with strong clear reception during the video. It looks like sw radio is dying and elderly people, like we are, leading by nostalgia about their youth trying to catch the past and sw radio stations
there are tons of things to listen to, you obviously do not listen or have to much noise, funny that dying radio gave me , Radio france, Romania, New Zealand the BBC world service, VOA and some interesting music from Mali last night. You should listen before commending its dying
@@OfficialSWLchannel thank you 🤝 I bought a PL 330 about 3 weeks ago, but have not been able to hear anything definite on shortwave yet. I live in a 16-story concrete building, and I realize there may be interference, so I went outside several times and listened with the built-in antenna, but still no clear radio stations were heard -- although there was a slight improvement. I remember the 80's and the old receiver was receiving good enough to pick up a lot of stations on short sets without additional antennas. I understand there has been a lot of radio interference during that time, including cell phone service. Please recommend an additional external antenna that I could hang on the balcony. Last winter Russia fired missiles at Kyiv with the intention of destroying our power supply, we had 8 hour power ages, that's probably the only plus -- no radio interference at that time) (sad sarcasm). I'm getting a Tecsun PL 990x soon, I'll see how it compares to the PL 330.
