I seen this guy using micro magnets to keep his guys standing. Glue one under the deck plate and drill or out the heal of the guys foot and glue a magnet. Also bury one at ground throw or where needed. I believe I will have to try this myself. Have a great evening !

i agree with you, sometimes the switchlist way seems like a job, so no list or no planning is more satisfying sometimes, but sometimes not. love the low angle shots. ops buddy is great but i have no spreadsheet experience so battling with google sheets is a little aggravating. also love your chit chat and comments

I enjoy both planned and unplanned operations. Sometimes it’s just fun to just run a train with no plan. I will be doing that this weekend at the Amherst Train Show with my club. I have a switching module with my club. So I plan to switch out the industries. Show attendees really enjoy the operations.

Use a Bar of Soap!! On lift out bridge. Old school remedy. You laugh it works!! I shit you not. Old wooden sashes here in michigan are lined with soap marks..

It's funny, the video title is "Local Runs into a Snag." And first thing, they showed me an ad for Snagit 😆 And like I've said before, with only 3 industries, there's no need for car cards or switch lists. I just look at what's in the yard and what's at the industries, and make a little plan in my head, depending on what I feel like doing. I focus on the fun part of railroading. Not the drudgery of piles of paperwork, missed holidays and birthdays, and switching cars all night in the freezing rain. I respect the folks that do that. Take care - Bill.

20s in the east last week, 8 inches of snow, today, snow is gone and was 77, go figure. Anyway, nice video, sorry about the earthquake damage (humidity and all). Eye level viewing is always the most enjoyable, like you were there. Enjoy the weekend Rick!

I think about that song by Albert Hammon Jr. from 1976-77. It never rains in Southern California. Of course, I rather have rain than snow anytime of the year. I remember back 2010 - 2011, Washington DC. had a Earthquake and we felt it all the up here in Central Bucks County Pennsylvania.

Normal humidity here in northern Colorado along the front range of the Rockies at 5,000' is 15-20%. We think we're dying when it reaches 50%. The times I've seen water issues out here is when we have a burst pipe or the occasional severe thunderstorm. Not many earthquakes either. But I still feel your pain, and like to see you running trains and your explanations. Good luck in drying things out. Might be worth a video segment to show how you repaired your lift-up bridge. Keep 'em coming!

@ 8:47... them taggers did a nice number on that 574... little bastards🤬🤬... i did notice during my first official visit to LA a few weeks ago, driving on the freeway, seemed like EVERY freeway sign was "tagged"... even signs that should have been inaccessible were tagged... the few signs that weren't tagged had rolls of barbed wire at the base to keep them little taggin' bastards at bay... sad

Humidity 90% here in Ohio. Smoke Alarm went off in garage last night. Then power window quit working on Auto in Toyota. Wednesday I found my Battery Tender in the garage was Toast. Dead. Lots of stuff failing from Moisture.

Better call City works and get a sidewalk replace order in. in New Brunswick we can have humidity or extreme cold issues that change air pressure effecting layouts in the weirdest ways. I was worried about you getting flooded as never thought earthquake. in HO reality multiple strength by 5.
